i know what you mean. i also hate it when people say "oh well that was gay" even though i say it like all the time. i smack myself when i do though. i'm trying to stop.

I really do like Jacob. I agree with what KibitzerTriplet said; I don't think he means to be a jerk. He's just very immature; and I think he feels as though the only way to win Bella over is to make her feel bad, really.

I didn't like it at all when he made a move on Bella, that wasn't right. But in New Moon, he did so much for Bella; if you think about it, Bella would be an entirely different character if it weren't for Jacob being there when Edward left her.

Well I still don't think that it was right that he "mouth raped Bella" as my friends and I so bluntly put it, in Eclipse. When I'm mad at someone, I actually read that part so that I have something else to be mad at... Smile

and i still say that i really don't mind that part. it doesn't make me want to kill him or anything. maybe because i like jake more than edward (only a little). he shouldn't have done it, but i understand. *shrug*

I HATE JACOB WITH A PASSION
some argue that he is only mean because he is frustrated with Bella well if he is so frustrated then he should save himself the pain and stop bothering her he's hurting HIMSELF, BELLA, and EDWARD! It was completely wrong from him to threaten his life just to make Bella realize she loves him which will forever change Bella and Edward because their will always be that doubt not to mention he hurt himself even more because now not only is he rejected but he is rejecting knowing that Bella knows she loves him but chooses Edward! Jacob is so frickin immature I can't stand it sure he may be young but please the games he plays are absurd. And Jacob is SELFISH he wants what is best for HIMSELF not what is best for BELLA like EDWARD does for goodness sakes Edward do what 's best for Bella even if that means giving her up. Jacob's dirty little tricks of thinking of Bella's sorrow for Edward to see or rubbing cuddling in his face is most definitely a jerk thing to do! To me Jacob is just there to provide doubt no matter how sure I am that Bella will end up with Edward I can't shake the doubt Jake provides and I HATE it just like JACOB BLAKE!

dang emma... i suppose you're entitled to your own opinion, but even so... lol. i have to say that i wish edward would be a little more selfish sometimes. his whole thing about always doing whatever bella wants (except letting her see jake, which is what she really wants) gets on my nerves. actually (and i just know i'm going to get mugged for saying this) i am fairly certain i would hate having edward as a boyfriend, or even as a friend. he constantly is all like, "oh, i'll do whatever's best for you" and then turns around and thinks he knows what's best for bella and everyone else. *muttermutter*

that said, jake isn't perfect either. he's immature (but god, he's a sixteen-year-old boy! what did you expect?) and annoying and selfish, but, on the whole, he's a nice person that i could be friends with.

well Bella straight up tells Jacob that she will never leave Edward, yet he is persistent to the point of assault and for that he is a jerk which is the question and that is my answer! Smile

lol, I'm not saying that he is a jerk, but what I am saying is that it's not all his fault. He's a GUY he has to deal with PROVING HIMSELF TO HIS FRIENDS! for all we know he was dared to do it.
