Saskatchewan...that's in Canada right? I'm not too good with places, but I have heard that name before. If I'm wrong I apologize.

North Carolina is in the southern part of the US right on the East Coast(by the Atlantic Ocean). It's a nice place to live, especially where I'm at because it's right on the coast and I don't have far to go to get to the beach. The only set back are the hurricanes, but we've had so many that they don't even bother me anymore.

ya, sask. is in canada.. so in a sence we are kinda like neighbours.. that sounds lame i know

i like in the middle of the praries!!!! n the closest body of water to me is far away n its only a little lake altho we dont ever have hurricanes or anything... winters are brutle tho ...

Wow..sounds like my dream come true. I'm going to have to take a vacation to Canada just so that I can see some snow and play in it.

ya its fun to play in the snow after... on thursday im going ski ing. its gooing to be really cold!!!

Ah skiing, cool.. I've never been but I've always wanted to try it. I'd probably end up face down in the snow or worse, but it just looks like so much fun that I wouldn't let that stop me. I know I would have a good time. Better dress warmly then! We wouldn't want you to freeze to death.

ive only been skiing once and it was really fun even tho i whipped out a lot but i think now it might get cancled now because there was a blizzard today:(

Ah, another Southern girl. Cool. Yeah I know about Roanoke, I've actually been there before along with a few other places in Virginia. It's a beautiful place, and a really nice place to visit.
Like you, I've never been away from the East Coast either, or out of the South for that matter. It's not that I don't want to, because I would love to travel around both in the US and other countries. But I don't really have the money or the time for it, which I hate but there's not much I can do about it. But I will one of these days, hopefully before I get too old haha

yeah, roanoke is pretty nice, except when you get into the center in the square, aka downtown

i hate big cities (probably why i never travel) and thats what that reminds me of, so i try to avoid downtown at all costs
but its got great views in some places

and its fine, no big deal

Yeah there are other Australians here, quite a few actually. It's nice to see a variety of people on here. It's one of the reasons why I like it so much. It makes things more interesting.
