and now to answer sam. (sorry if it's spamming.)

YES! we can call ourselves that when we're undercover assassinating assassins for lauren!

exactly. most people picked silly things like, "i am a tree" or "i am a pool of rippling water" or something. i took one look at the assignment and ran in the opposite direction and after some very intense soul-searching (a whole five minutes worth!) i decided that i was far too frightened of what i might find to look farther, so i gave up. b is pretty good, true, though my parents think i should be getting A's on all my essays. ("You like to write, anne, and you're good at it. there is no reason why you shouldn't be getting A's in language arts!") they don't understand that creative writing and essay writing are two VERY different things.

you didn't go to any of the classes? wow sam, i never figured you for a ditcher Razz. i almost got a D a couple times, but i managed to pull them both up. last year i had an F for most of the first quarter of LA, though. we were reading romeo and juliet and i HATE that book and we had to do stupid worksheets, and it was awful. i didn't do them.

oh yeah! go aliceness!

Oh wow. At least one thing is different Razz. i killed my eyesight by reading in the dark as a little child. and i spend too much time at the computer as well. i eat carrots too, though only cooked. my friends and i brought a camp stove to the rink yesterday while we were waiting for ice show practice to start, and we made macaroni and cheese and "carrot soup" which consisted of boiled carrots seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and "salt mix" which was full of stuff that i don't even want to know about. it was surprisingly tasty! we're going to make ramen next week.

oh, lovely. i don't play computer games much right now, but i'll go through phases of all tetris all the time, or all zoo tycoon all the time. it's funny, actually. i'm the oldest, so i tend to win, but then my brother starts screeching and it gets ugly. i usually kick him out, though Razz.

i'm the oldest of two, but my mom was a middle child and she's told me about it. and wow, she was the second girl with a younger brother too... it sucks that you're so different, though. at least you have friends. i'd rather have friends. my family is annoying.

Haha, Lilly is so loyal. Always sticking with us even when we go on confusing rants Razz

Yes! Jemima and Myrtle: the undercover assassin assassinators, working for the one who seeks world domination Razz

Well those are just dumb. Whoever calls themself a tree is just deranged. I once had to do something like that in English, relating myself to something, and I picked a stray cat, because I love cats and I wasn't really putting much thought into it (not even five minutes of soul-searching, lol Razz). At least I didn't call myself a dog!! My soul searching is often very quick, but it's still accurate (on my scale, at least). A lot of the time I suddenly just decide something about myself, and then I'm like, "Hey, that actually fits! Kind of..." That essay was definitely worth more than a b, because it actually shows a lot of you, personally. Stupid teachers can never see depth even when it's staring them right in the face, unless it's in the form of pretentious, complicated words that don't make sense, but look impressive. Creative writing and essays are indeed two very different things - one I love, and am quite good at, and the other... well, I suck at it. My recent three essays turned out like a bag of crap.

Well technically I wasn't ditching, because they're during normal class time (you have to leave in the middle of one of your classes to go to instrumental lessons, and apparently they take priority over tests and everything else, because they're just SO important) and I just decided to be good and stay in class instead. Wow, an F? I can see why, though. Worksheets are dumb. And Romeo and Juliet is just a little... passe (can't be bothered with the accent now Razz) and extremely overstudied (don't think that's a word...)

Uh huh. We're a perfect trio; Anne, Sam and Alice. Hey, it actually sounds rhythmical too! *repeats over and over again* Anne, Sam and Alice, Anne Sam and Alice, Anne, Sam and Alice. Hmm, either that or I just have no sense of rhythm (funny that, considering I play the drums - but I'm not that good, so you never know... Razz)

Well I've found another thing that's different. You eat cooked carrots. They make me want to gag. My friend and her little brother once forced me to eat just a bite, and I almost did just that. Wow, that's pretty cool that you could cook while at the rink! Ours is owned by a freakishly rich family, and they wouldn't allow it. Everything's pretty uptight there. That soup sounds pretty cool. I probably wouldn't eat it (I hate cooked carrots, as you've heard, and I'm a picky eater in general), but it sounds creative. Ramen would be good, though Very Happy

Neither do I. But oh my god, I can't believe you play Zoo Tycoon!!!!!!! Another similarity. I've been obsessed with it since about grade five, and I even named my email address after it. I have the second version now, and one of the expansion packs (I had both on the original version). I don't play it anymore, though (I'll probably get back into it someday). I also had brief (or not so brief) obsessions with The Sims 2, and the Harry Potter 5 computer game. I don't play games anymore, though. You're lucky you can win. My brother and sister used to beat me out of it all the time (she's older, he's stronger Razz). But then I went and got my own, so now I'm laughing at them! And my computer has the best internet in the house Very Happy

That's another freakish coincidence. I don't think these are ever going to end... I know, it really does suck. My brother and sister always go through phases (e.g. a strange obsession with pancakes, having the same teachers and assignments at school - except three years later, for my brother) that I don't, and I feel left out. But hey, I love being individual! And looking different from the rest of my family is good too, because if they're embarrassing me and I want to pretend I'm not related, all I have to do is look appalled Razz I tend to prefer friends too. They understand things much better than family.

PostSubject: Re: New Cullen Sister :P   New Cullen Sister :P - Page 2 Icon_minitimeWed Apr 02, 2008 9:23 pm

yup, here we go. what did you expect? Razz

oh yeah! yay us! assassins, be warned. jemina and myrtle are on your trail! Razz

Exactly. i think it was something about all the different branches that then come together into a single trunk. *grimace* stupid, imo. at least cats are alive! and you calling yourself a dog would be amusing! soul-searching at 15 is, in my opinion, pointless. but when you have to you have to, i suppose. then again, i tend to psychoanalyze myself in my journal, so that counts. i'm really bad at it, though. exactly. i hate it when they ignore the substance of an essay! i like big words, though. i know lots of them, and they amuse me. i've only written one essay that i liked: the one about the internet that i was able to integrate this site into. i had it TWICE in my works cited page! but yeah, creative writing is MUCH better than essay writing! i'm sure your essays weren't as bad as all that, though. certainly they have to have been better than the majority of sophomores. it's kinda scary how badly a lot of the kids in my so-called "honors" classes write. i know a 10-year-old who writes better than they do! Shocked

Oh, lovely. choir is a separate class for us. i think my teacher gave me strep, though, which isn't good. i have to get rid of it by friday when we compete. it would suck majorly if i gave it to the girls on my team... even though about half of them deserve it... NO! we're supposed to be getting along, damit! *sigh* our coach gave us another lecture about being nice the other day... anyway, i managed to finish the semester with a C, so it was almost decent. not enough for my parents, though. but yeah. romeo and juliet gets old. i don't see why bella likes it so much. and if overstudied isn't a word, then it should be!

we are! and you're right, it does sound rhythmical! i have to mix music for my stupid video for tech class, so i'm obsessed with rhythms and melodies right now. *sigh* that class went from being my 3rd favorite to my 2nd most hated in a day. it was scary!

At least this proves that we're just twins, not clones Razz. i can't stand raw carrots. i hate them with a burning passion. but yeah, we brought the camp stove and it was fun. i doubt it's technically allowed, but who cares? it's not like we follow the rules that much. (hey, stealing the coffee creamers from the snack stand does NOT count as stealing because we buy food from there a lot, and anyway, they're out there for the world to take!) i love Ramen! it's mighty tasty!

I love zoo tycoon! we only have zoo tycoon 1 with the dino extension, but i was obsessed with that game! i actually had my zoo making money for a good several years Shocked it was so cool! i'll get back into it too. as i said, it goes in phases with me. i've never played any of the Sims games, but i'm pretty sure i'd like them. i mean, a world where you are basically God and can kill people at will? Twisted Evil (me fav. part of zoo tycoon was always making the little people throw up and turn green Razz). my brother's a complete wimp, despite the fact that he's a red belt in karate. our computer is technically a "shared" computer, but everyone knows that it's really mine. same with our cell phone. my dad is already referring to it as anne's phone, which is cool! yay for having the best internet.

I don't think they will either. it's cool, though Very Happy! my brother's obsessed with computer games and TV. i think the TV should be burned and left to die, but that's a personal opinion Razz. but being an individual is amazing! people actually know you as you, not so and so's little sister. lol, i do that when my mom embarrasses me (which is often) even though everyone says we look alike. i don't believe them, though. but she embarrasses me a ton and i've started just walking away when she does it. i tell people that i'm not related to the woman in the corner Razz. my friends understand me a heck of a lot better than my family. it's funny, in a sad way.

Lol, Lilly, not much point trying to keep up now. We've got way too many topics going on Razz

Go Jemima and Myrtle! Now all we need is some cool costumes, a theme song, and we've got ourselves a pair of superheroes! Razz

That is stupid. I know trees are alive and all that, but they're so... motionless. If somebody called me a tree I'd probably cry (not that I'm that much of a wuss, but that seemed to fit). I can't soul-search for the life of me. I always make the weirdest judgements, and then later wonder why I actually thought that. In essays I just tend to make everything up, which works equally as well, especially when you have shallow teachers. Big words are awesome. I know a ton of them, but sometimes the meanings just completely escape me, which is irritating. That essay sounds awesome! I wrote several last year that I was quite proud of, because I actually learned to aim my essays at certain teachers (which meant that for my English teacher, I wrote a load of semi-analytical stuff packed with try-hard jokes and random references). I got to write an essay about skating once. Actually it was an essay on a project I did on skating That project was the best EVER! We got to choose whatever topic we wanted, and then had compulsory tasks like a short story - that was the fifteen page one - and a website, and two free choices. IIt was huge, but super entertaining! I titled mine: "The big book of ice skating: a.k.a. 101 reasons to throw yourself around wearing blades on your feet" (they call it ice skating here). I actually did write a list of 101 reasons, for one of my free choices. I only did 70, though - the 70th one was "so that when you don't manage to quite get 101 reasons, you can tell your teacher that you were too busy skating to finish." My sister came up with that one Razz Yeah, creative writing is a hundred (or more) times better. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a bad level on at least the third essay, because I gave up completely and didn't even structure it properly. I know, some people just can't write. I'm shocked - some of the people I've seen write almost as though they don't speak English.

Eek, that must be bad. I've never had it (touch wood - haha, my wrists are already resting on my wooden desk Razz - and yes, I take that saying very literally) Bahaha, you've just got to breathe in their faces if you want them to... mysteriously not be able to compete. Then again, you wouldn't want the team getting deteriorated. Ah, coach lectures... I think another of the girls in my coaching group (the group of people that have the same coach as me) might be about ready to quit, because my coach and his wife had a go at her for having a hole in her leggings. Then there were a few... arguments, afterwards, with the parents and stuff. Not pretty. Lol, nothing is ever enough for my parents. My sister got a projected TER (Tertiary Entrance Ranking - it's the system they have here for grade twelves, and she got it sort of predicted judging by her grade eleven marks) of 98 point something, and the highest you can get is 99.95. And my dad still wasn't satisfied. Parents these days... Romeo and Juliet is overrated. I'm sure it's great and all that, but I don't think it would be half as popular if it wasn't such a cheesy romance. Ick.

Haha, I always get obsessed with things when I do them at school. Especially when they're dumb things Razz Hmm, that is scary. It happens to me a lot, though.

Yeah, that's good. It looks like we're complete opposites in that sense - I LOVE raw carrots. Haha, I'd love to break the rink rules, but the staff are too darn strict. No, that doesn't count - I did that all the time when I was about five, so unless you want to call a five year old a thief... Razz Ramen is indeed tasty Very Happy

That's so cool! When I played Zoo Tycoon 1, my aunt got me Marine Mania and Dinosaur Digs as a combined expansion pack, with a discount, because she worked for Microsoft back then. It was pretty cool. And yeah, every now and then I got my zoo working properly, but I usually cheated. It goes in phases with me, too. There was a stage (or two) when I was COMPLETELY obsessed with the Sims 2. It's actually quite a good game, mostly for the reason you stated. I had a sim "game show" at one point, called Sim Salad, where I made eight random people, and they had "challenges" (which were life-threatening - e.g. standing in a burning building, swimming in a pool until they drowned, waiting for a satellite to fall on their heads, risking electrocution...) and the first sim who died was eliminated. Basically it carried on like that until there was only one sim left, and they were the winner. Yeah, I was pretty cruel to my sims in general (making them have 10 babies, I thought, was pretty mean of me in itself). Lol, my favourite part of Zoo Tycoon was throwing the guests in the cages with the animals, and watching them getting thrown around. That was a highlight too, though. Haha, I wish my brother was a wimp. Well he's an antisocial computer addict, so I guess there's not much difference. Scarily enough, there's not much difference between that and me... but then, my computer habits aren't quite as bad, and I do more physical exercise, and I actually talk to people.

I used to be completely obsessed with like, ten different TV shows, but then slowly I stopped watching them, and now I don't watch any. I watch the Chasers War on Everything on YouTube, though, because they're HILARIOUS. You should look them up. I know, it's great, isn't it? A lot of people tell me I look like my sister, but then some say we don't look alike at all. My siblings and I all look fairly different, but the two of them are much closer together in appearance and personality than I am to either of them. Haha, I do that too - we were at the store that belongs to the lady who's making our skating dresses, and she was measuring my sister, and my mom commented on how my sister had a "bubble butt." Even I was so embarrassed I had to turn away. I wonder what it was like for my sister. I know, in a weird way, friends actually know you better than family. Well I guess not in every sense, but in a way. For instance, my friends know more about my evil side, my hyperactivity, and my writing and all that. But my family knows more about my embarrassing habits... Razz

Wow, these posts are getting almost as long as the skating ones!!

Anne. Totally agree with your last post. I didn't try to read all that you and Sam wrote, but i read that and i'm like "So true".

It's like, you can't ever know yourself because if you did you'd be.... Actually the easiest way to know yourself is if you're extremely shallow. Haha. But if you're, like, normal, there's so much to learn about life and with each thing you learn about, you change a tiny bit, so since you can never know everything about the world and life and the universe, you can never know everything about yourself.

Haha did I make sense there?

Lauren, it was one of the longer ones we've posted, but I reckon there have been longer ones than that. That one was... let's see... 1184 words. Shocked Wow, I talk a LOT.

Ooh, hello Linden Very Happy And I agree with that philosophy. It's impossible to know yourself inside and out. I mean, first of all, if you're trying to memorize yourself "out" (as in "outside") then that's just weird, because you can't memorize every single little hair and freckle all over yourself. And the inside is just so much more complicated... it hurts my head just thinking about it. People who try to analyse the human mind are just dumb. I mean, to even begin to understand yourself, you'd need to be one of those really clever people with a mind that can cope with complex things. And for those people, their minds are just going to be that much more complicated, so it's impossible to win.

Okay, that made NO sense at all.

Haha Lilly if you're a psycho then I'm worse, coz i want to be one of those people who understand people's minds Razz I reckon it'd be really interesting! But yes, i agree with your complicated long paragraph, Samantha. Which then makes it very confusing to then say what i said above. Hmm. Haha i said just before on the thread about alter-egos that i had lots of them (read it, i can't be bothered explaining it haha)... and that applies here too. Best way to describe it Very Happy.

How's that for a confusing paragraph? About... 6 different ideas... Glechk Razz (And yes, Glechk is a word Very Happy)

Well Linden, you're just weird. As I said, "People who try to analyse the human mind are just dumb." And yeah, if you agree with me, then you'd do well to abandon that little dream of being a psychoanalysis specialist. (I just made that up, but it sounds smart.) And yeah, most of us here have a few (or twelve Very Happy) alter egos.

Well we're all for making up words here, so it doesn't matter. "Glechk" can be a word if you want it to.
