yeah, but the original people kept fowarding it, then they would forward, so NO ONE could get the same number, and all the original people were saying it was an untracebale number, that no one recognized, and it had no voice mail box or anything, so in other words: someone created a whole new phone just for this

oh, okay. i know that one. my radio station never tell me what the songs they play are or what the artists are, and it drives me mad! don't know anything about her, though.

I hate when they do that too, it is annoying. She's a British soul/jazz/R&B/doo-wop singer-songwriter. And right here lately she's been in some trouble. She's had problems with substance abuse, mental health issues, even some legal problems as well.

ah, i see. yes, she certainly sounds like someone to avoid. i don't even really like the song that much, anyway.

Yeah I hardly know who she is. I only know the name because I read stuff about her problems. It's kind of sad when you only know people for their addictions and stuff. Celebrities these days...

Lol, I've kind of grown up knowing about Britney Spears - and HATING her. I remember the first time I saw one of her albums. It was during my 6th (or so) birthday party at a hair salon (they let us all dress up and they did our hair in really cool styles - hey, it was pretty fun for little kids) and I saw it sitting on the table. From there on I never liked her at all. I was more into the Spice Girls when I was little, actually.

ARGH, I'm doing it again. I need to start acting my own age (actually, I'm incredibly immature, but then at times I'm just really weird and start acting really old. Hmm, not normal at all.)

You know what's funny? Whenever there's a telemarketer on the phone, I'm always tempted to start talking in a croaky voice and tell them my life story, just to make them hang up. "It all started in a fifty two bed hospital..." that kind of thing. That's just one of the many sinister plots me and my family have for responding to telemarketers. But I always chicken out - the farthest I've gotten is making creepy sound into the phone and then hanging up.

I hated Britney Spears too, still do. And I'm sick and tired of hearing about her, her family and their stupid problems. It's driving me crazy. I think if I were to hear another thing about her in the media I would just snap.

That's hilarious! And what a great idea! I'm surprised that I've never thought about doing something like that before. Of course I probably wouldn't be able to keep a straight face and would just end up laughing right into the telephone trying to do it. But then again I never pick up when they call, so it doesn't really matter anyway. I have caller ID on my phone so whenever the number pops up I just ignore it and let the answering machine take it.

i've hated her for as long as i can remember, and i have to hear about her once more then i will kill something. even NPR had stuff about her ! I thought they had better taste!!

that's a GREAT idea! we don't get too many telemarketers (they're not supposed to call us, we're on the no caller list), but we get lots of people asking for money and donations. i should either do that, or use my golom voice and tell them, "I want to suck your blood!" appropriate for a twilight freak, right?

i liked her music, and her when she first came out with her cd... but then when she came to hawaii and i went to her concert - and my opinion went downhill from there.


lol. i get a lot of those calls too... and i just hang up on them.

same, i liked her first few and then it just went splat. and we dont have a house phone so im usually safe from annoying calls unless its one of my friends.
