ah. but do we want to control our addiction? I, for one, thoroughly enjoy every minute of it!

*looks around at the group, takes a deep breath* Well, it all began when I was looking around Stephenie's site. I didn't mean to get addicted, I promise! But... well, there was this link, and I clicked on it. I was looking for Jasper fan-sites, and I saw "be sorted into a Cullen Cult" so I clicked and I joined and... and... and then I ended up at this meeting. *sobs* It's not my fault! I promise!

I enjoy it too, but it has to come down a notch. I can't allow it to run my life!

Aww there there *gives you a hug* Just let it all out, it'll be ok. No one is blaming you for your addiction. I got addicted through Stephenie's site as well. She really should put like a warning label or something up. "WARNING: Site may cause extreme Twilight fanatic behavior,unwillingness to cope with anything that is not Twilight related, and can be very addictive."

I'm trying to do the same. I have things to do, after all. (*cough*homework*cough*)

*smiles shakily* She should. Isn't there a law that says you need to post a warning on things that are potentially addictive? I don't see how this is any different from cigarettes in that effect. Except, of course, that this is a healthy addiction, and cigarettes aren't.

And I'm sure you've got plenty of it. We wouldn't want you to fall behind because of your little addiction, now would we?

Something like that. And as for this being a healthy addiction, it depends on how you look at it. I'm sure there's a shrink out there somewhere who would probably not agree with that statement.

Hello everyone, I am Lindz and am a cullen cults addict! It is very hard to admit but I just can't stay off this addictive site, lol!

CCAA I like the sound of that. Only I don't want to control my addiction. *throws a fit* No! I won't try to tone it down! I won't!

*finally gives in* Okay, okay. I'm Sam, and believe it or not, I'm a severe Cullen Cults addict. I also have some violence issues, but that's not for here. And I'd like to say that the best way to curb the addiction is to feed it... sadly enough I can't think of any other solutions. *shrugs* Suits me.

(And Anne, what you said on the other page about not being able to imagine me as a quiet person, is completely reasonable, but I assure you I hardly say a word in class, when I'm not talking to friends - don't worry, my friends all know just how crazy I really am. I'm so quiet that half the people in my class don't remember my name, even the teachers. Whereas I remember everybody's names. *sighs* I like being myself on the internet, though. I don't mean to sound all deep and meaningful and cheesy here but I think my typing fingers are the portal to my soul... yeah, that was pretty much made of cheese.)

I'm sure there are, Lauren. Something about "feeding delusions until they become reality" or something.

None of the rest of us want to either, so don't worry Sam.

I'm pretty quiet at school too, but all the teachers know who I am. They all love me too, which is odd, since I don't think I do anything out of the ordinary. But adults take to me. *shrug* It's useful for explaining away my missing homework assignments.
(me- "But, Mme. Colli, I had to write an essay for history. You know, the ten page one for Mrs. Strother?"
her- "Alright Anne. I understand. You can turn this in later for full points.") score one for me!
But I'm constantly amazed how many people know my name. I mean, I know all of them, but I didn't expect them to know me. (there's no good shrugging icon on here .)

I was pretty quiet in school too, well during class anyway. That's probably why the teachers liked me so much. I was a good student and always did my work, instead of running my mouth off the whole time. Some of my friends use to tease me and call me a teacher's pet, which I hated. But thankfully, I never have to deal with any of that ever again I'm a free woman!!

i hate that too! i don't get called that, but i would hate it if i did. and i don't always do my work, but i can almost always sweet-talk my way out of getting into trouble about it . You're lucky. Wish i was!

Yeah sweet talk does come in handy at times. I never really had to use it to get out of trouble for not doing my work, but my friends and I would use it for other reasons. Like during the last class of the day, we'd sweet talk the teacher into letting us leave ten minutes before the bell rung. Or we were sometimes able to get them to switch the days on which we had to take a test, stuff like that. Some of my teacher's were very easy to persuade, it was great. And don't worry, you'll be out before you know it.

I'm not so good with the sweet talk all the time, but I am a good student who does their homework and tries not to talk during class so I don't really ever need to sweet talk my way out of something! I have been called a "teacher's pet" too, but whatever!

*Sniff* Im terrible at sweet talking and I kind of have a record so nobody belives me anyway, so I just stop trying unless its a break for freedom, then Iam very,very sneaky. I mostly avoid school work, it burns my hands. So my idiot Chem teachers yelling at me yesterday.

While we're still discussing our addiction to this place, I should mention that yesterday my mom lectured me about being an antisocial teenager. Well let me tell her, it's kind of hard to stay in touch with real life when you've got a whole other word inside your head! (I'm talking Twilight, and about my story, which is really starting to take shape now )

Haha, I'm okay at sweet-talking. My teachers tend to let me off the hook because I look innocent (how wrong they are...) I was better when I was younger, though. My brother and I used to go up to the snack bar at the arena in Canada every day and ask for five Fuzzy Peaches each (because our parents only gave us 25 cents each) and the lady working there always gave us like twenty because we were so cute. Those were the days...

Teachers like me, but they're always saying "you need to participate more in class!" It's only the really old ones that forget my name, or else get me mixed up with other people even when I look nothing like them.

Lol, Lauren, that's very true (what you said about watching out for the quiet ones). When people in my class are blaming people for things, they're always saying "I bet it's Sam! She's trying to look innocent so that we won't suspect her!"

i am soo addicted to everything about Twilight! especially how incredebly hot they guys are. WOO BABY! lol. i love every last detail. except when Edward leaves in New Moon. *sobs*

I don't get antisocial lectures, but that is because I used to be really shy but now all of my friends are really outspoken people and they have rubbed off on me!

Haha, yes, nobody can escape the CCAA. At least, it's impossible not to become addicted enough to need to go to a meeting to control your addiction... if that made sense.

I'm not actually anti-social (in fact, I do heaps of stuff with friends all the time, and I talk waaaaay too much, as long as I'm not around people I don't know. My mom was just mad at me because I accidentally knocked something over and she thought I did it on purpose, so then she decided to play the "you're becoming a b**chy teenager" card for no reason.

Yes, sadly enough, I actually had half a life before Twilight (half was already taken away by skating). Now I have no life. Okay, maybe I have a tiny fraction of a life left... well, I guess writing has to contribute to something

Yeah, my mom has dealt the "you're becoming a b**chy teenager" card a long time ago! We get along great and everything but when we fight, we fight! Oh well, I'll be leaving for college this year anyways!

My life before twilight was fun but twilight just made it so much better! Writing does contribute Sam, so keep doing it because you seem to love it!
