My fish used to get sucked into the filter too. *mutters* Stupid, malfunctioning, murderous filter! Now I've got three hardy little fish, two of which are big greedy-gutses. The other one is practically an old man. He's a slimesucker, and he started out about two centimetres long and now he's about three inches. Scary. But he's super lazy and doesn't do anything, so we're going to hire a replacement

I love cats, and I desperately want one, but my dad is allergic (like Lindz, except my brother is, too )

Carmen, that must suck. My family had a tradition of keeping hamsters when we lived in Canada, and it was sad when they all eventually died off. One of them was still just a baby... *sob*

Cats are very entertaining to watch, especially mine. They're hilarious, I could sit and watch them for hours.

my cat like gets high off of freakin cat nip all the time. we have it growing wild in my back yard (i have no clue how) and she goes nuts when it comes up. she's with children right now and she can still jump like 5 feet in the air!!!

You have catnip growing in your yard? Haha that's interesting.. I've never given it to my cats before, and they really don't need any. They're crazy enough as it is.. What's your cat's name?

Aw, I wish my cat was having kittens but she can't. As soon as they were old enough I had both of mine fixed. I would have liked for them to be able to have kittens but we could only have three pets at a time. I already had a dog when I found the two cats so I had hit the limit. Three animals are enough to take care of anyway.

My cat is soo evil too!! she's mean to people and SCRATCHES (lol) the hell out of our arms and legs. if you are wiggling your fingures she'll attack. no joke either. lol

Wow..Yeah that cat doesn't sound too friendly haha My cats won't do that to you, well unless you pick on them a lot then they'll swat at you. But for the most part they're very sweet and friendly. Especially the boy cat-Blacky he is nothing but a lover, a real sweetheart. He'll jump up into anyone's lap and start licking and rubbing up against them. My other cat Samantha(yes her name really is Samantha, and I call her Sam for short) is friendly as well but she's not as affectionate towards strangers as Blacky. She'll let you rub her and stuff but she doesn't really want people outside of the family to hold her for some reason. Both they're both my babies and I love them to death.

Oh, sooooooooo cute! Well since I can't have cats, I have one dog instead! She is a beagle, named Missy, and she has really big ears and is a total sweetheart... when she isn't ignoring me!

lol. do you live in the country or in the city? I've found that country dogs (besides mine) live longer. mine all like run away. its kind of funny...not that they all die, but that my family is cursed.

I had a cat one time and i was sitting on my front porch eating a hotdog with one of my friends and my cat comes up, steals my hotdog, then my friends and takes off into the woods. we took like twenty minutes cooking the stupid things over a fire so i went inside and used the microwave for our new (and eatin inside) hotdogs. it was funny =]

Sorry, Lauren, I just got super-excited when I read that. It's a coincindence, though (not to mention a coincidence that I think is very cool, because cats are superior beings )

Lol, Carmen, that's a funny story. I've never had to deal with anything like that, because my pets are all the size of my hand or smaller.

This is very depressing, listening to you guys talk about your awesome pets. My pets are awesome too, but I can't say half the things about them that you guys can. Unless you want "My fish stole my hotdog" sort of thing My fish are pretty cool, though. Argus (the huge angelfish) is so interactive for a fish that it's funny. He actually swims up to the front of the tank every time you come into the room and wriggles around, so we know he's hungry. And then he follows you with his pleading little eyes until you've actually put the food into the tank. And then there's Alice (she's a much smaller angelfish, ironically enough) who's his little apprentice. She's learning all his sucking up tactics The slimesucker (Baby Barbosa) is humungous, but he's lazy and old.

Sorry for boring you with my fish talk. I think my fish are fairly entertaining, but you all might not
