Oh deary me... Don't worry, my writing used to be a huge bunch of scribbles with a bunch of dots all over the place. I had to work hard to improve it.

Haha, Lauren, well she seemed to think the writing on the letter she sent to me was messy, but it wasn't really. I'm going to have to take long breaks between writing letters, because otherwise whoever gets their letter written third is going to have a hard time deciphering my "letters"...

You don't have to do that, just write however you've been writing. I'm sure I'll be able to read it. If I can read some of the most horrific looking chicken scratch known to man, hell I can read anything. And believe me, I've seen some bad hand writing in my day.

Yeah, so do I. Both of my grandmothers have really nice writing. And my French tutor, who's about sixty or so, has awesome writing too.

I think the younger generation is seeing some very... unique writing. As in, there's a LOT of variety. Some people have really cool, interesting writing that only they have, and some people just have super-messy writing. There's definitely more room for interpretation when it comes to handwriting these days.

mine is okay, though i tend to switch between print and cursive mostly at random . sam, when you get my letter, you will notice that. i do my best, but sometimes it happens. i'll try to stick to one or the other in my answer to you, lilly. (and, by the way, i don't think your writing is bad at all. and i agree with sam: you haven't seen messy until you've seen my brother's.)

Haha Linden, that made sense to me, but to a lot of people, it probably wouldn't have I've learned to think in a sort of Linden-ish way over the years, lol. Your writing is messy indeed, but it's also very cool.

Yeah, I got your letter today. (Close call with my dad and my sister - both were asking who it was from. I was kind of stuck for words, and my fingers actually - completely accidentally - dropped the letter down beside the car seat, so I was just like... um, my fingers are sticky, I'll get it later - because I was eating a sticky cinnamon scroll - and they forgot about it )

glad you like it. it only took me seven years to get legible handwriting . it was awful throughout most of elementary school.
