i agree totally, carmen. my family and i don't always get along, but they certainly have senses of humor.

my dad LOVES puns.

he can be pretty funny sometimes though

my parents just have a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor that i inherited. my grandmother pointed out the other day that the three of us could have a conversation in the middle of a zillion people and have no one else know what on EARTH we're talking about because we're all really obscure and fairly comfortable around each other. we also tend to lose topics REALLY easily. for example, a conversation with my mom went about like this:
tampons; use and size
to hilary clinton
to the idiocy of president bush
to israel
to stupidity
to my history project
to the g8 convention
to the disney song "following the leader"

maybe not in that order, but all those topics were covered...

lol that kind of thing's happened to me before....

Ohh, I see. lol. Well it can be kind of evil sometimes, when it decides to give you a hard time and not work right. Tom is evil then, too, for not fixing it. But yeah, most of the time it's okay.

my mother's fairly paranoid about the internet, but she's as nothing compared to my best friend. omgod, this is the girl who things stalkers are EVERYWHERE! *shakes head* meh, i don't like paranoia. it's one of my biggest pet peeves. maybe because i'm not paranoid to the point of being reckless, especially online.

My dad is extremely paranoid about the internet. He works for computers and is like.... blah. My parents didn't trust me on the net for a while because they found out I was IMing this girl I met online. So stupid.
