my mom has a thing against wal-mart. i think it has something to do with their business practices.

wal-mart is this huge chain store. they haven't made it to australia yet?? wow...

they don't let their workers unionize and they pay them all of squat. it keeps their prices low, but my mom doesn't approve.

Bahaha, I always crack up when I hear that Australians don't know what Wal-Mart is. It was such a big thing when I lived in Canada (sorry Lilly. And yes, I do have a habit of laughing at other peoples' expense)

That would be awesome if your mom moved to Australia (but only if she brought you with her, of course!). It would have to be the west coast, though, because otherwise you'd still be miles away from your mental twin!

Lilly, can I ask you something? When you say you live in the middle of nowhere, do you mean where you live could be classified as the outback? What's it actually like living there? (sorry, I'm originally Canadian, so I've still got questions about stereotypes and stuff. Takes a bit of time to learn )

um, generally the "outback" is classified near the middle of australia so yes and no, i dont live to far from the regions bigger town, but it is very much country.

And i actually was born in perth, and livedd there the first two years of my life. theres one for you.

thats alot of moving.

it is a lot of moving. i've moved a lot as well (of course i have ). i went from boston to france to boston to germany to colorado. we've been here almost 10 years, though, which is a major accomplishment!

the biggest move that i ever made was wa to victoria and that was it.

at least you have moved. i know people who've only ever lived in one house.
