WHAT IF there was a Breaking Dawn movie?

OK, so this just came to me when a reread Breaking Dawn. If there was a movie, what would you want in it? Would you audition for a certain part? I want you're thoughts as well.



I personally would like to try out for the part of Maggie, one of the Irish vampires. I have curly red hair, I'm Irish, and my actual name is Maggie!
I got so excited when I figured out she had red hair.

That would be awesome! You should definately do it, just because.

Well, they already started making the Twilight movies, so there probably will be a BD one eventually. It's pretty far off though...

When I was reading it, I kept thinking about how it'd look in the movie, and I kinda was scared. I don't know about y'all, but some of the images are kinda disturbing... Like preggo Bella and the entire birth, they're kinda gory and gross... Don't know if I wanna see that on the big screen all nice and blown up...

But I definately wanna see all the vampire powers! And a souped up honeymoon scene... lol

But yeah, it'll be an awesome movie, but they might have to take it to a rated R, for the honeymoon and all the gore. Or they'll just have to cut it out, but that'd be a shame.

I know what you mean, but Meyer does kind of skip the honeymoon scenes that could make it R. I'd love to see Renesmee's gift on the screen, though.

Yeah, the birth thing would be kind of nasty, but I'm sure they would change a bit if they needed too. "They" referring to directors and writers. If it was R, I'd hopefully be legally allowed to see it by the time the movie came out. I'm only 13 now. But I could probably get someone older to come with me if I couldn't go with a friend.

there's always ways to get into r movies. but i don't think they'd make it R cuz they'd be losing so much money from the kids that are too chicken to try to sneak in... so they wouldn't dare!

Yeah, that's definitely true. They wouldn't want to risk all that money.

Which is kinda sad if you think about it. They can't make the movie the way it should be cuz then they'd lose money...

but it makes sense in this case. Just in others it's kind of sad.

That whole Maggie thing is awesome! You should definitely consider trying out.

I agree - especially the whole drinking blood out of a cup thing... I mean, obviously it wouldn't be real blood, but it would be a kind of disturbing concept. And they'd have to keep on changing the actress who was playing Renesmee, seeing as the kid grows so freakishly fast. It would be cool to see the wedding and honeymoon and vampire faceoff thingy brought to life

The annoying thing with Twilight is that I don't look like any of the characters (that made it difficult to dress up for the BD trivia night, lol ) so even if I did live close enough to audition, there wouldn't be a part that fit. I could pass as Jane (I have pale brown hair, I'm really small for my age, and everyone thinks I have that innocent-but-evil look) but as I said, I live on the other side of the planet, so it wouldn't work out

I thought that BD was just chock full of disturbing images... of course, that kinda just made me like it more, but I definately think it's gonna make the movie a little iffy for some people.

they would probably cut out the birth, seeing as its from Jacobs POV, they could just have it as him hearing it or something...
i was pretty dang pieved when i found out there wasnt a single scene in the dang thing, so i doubt they would put one in the movie, just to keep it PG13
but i highly doubt they would bump a Twilight movie up to an R rating...

where stephenie says that if all of her books were turned into movies, breaking dawn would have to be split into two movies, because of everything that happens. But on Imdb.com they show the New Moon movie to be released in 2010! soo we still have aa LOOOOOOOONG time until this amazingg saga will be fully turned into a movie!

Yeah, I agree. Being in a Twilight or Harry Potter movie would be a dream come true Playing Jane would be fun, I bet. She's such an awesome character, despite the fact that she's one of the semi-villains (I can never figure out whether or not the Volturi are really meant to be the evil ones. I mean, technically they're just... slightly corrupted leaders.)

Sky, your movies are awesome, so I bet you would have been able to pull Luna off pretty well

I definitely know what you mean. They've already signed up to do the next three movies, but that scene is something I could live without.

Think about movies and the media in this day and age though; chances are, they WOULD do the honeymoon scene. Like "the Notebook;" The writer of the book skipped it but the movie didn't.

A lot of movies do that.

Anyway I don't think they'll go into much detail though because they need to keep it PG enough so that their intended audience can come. It's one thing to read about it, another to see it.

I dont think they shohuld skip it, its a major part of bellas life and i dont want them to change the movie too much so its not like thebook, i mean they dont have to have some hard core sex scene, but like at least let it be KNOWN that they do it! just as much as stephenie writes is what they should do. plus edward without a shirt....

oh yes edward without a shirt has got to be there somewhere!!! lol but yeah the movies will never be exactly like the book and it will prolly piss us off and stuff but i'm hoping that it will meet our expectations anyway. so i seriously think that the twilight movies are talked about more than the harry potter ones were lol

My favorite quote is, "You can't judge a book by it's movie". The Twilight movie is, honestly, probably going to suck. But what am I going to do? See it the day it comes out, then buy the DVD.

The BD movie is going to involve some difficult decisions for the producers.
