Books other than Twilight

skylar, i heard of fanboy and goth girl. i want to read it so bad!

black ships is a really good book. it's a historical thing about the Aeneid. (that's what happened to the trojans AFTER the war, btw) i liked it a lot!

I love the Maximum Ride books. they rock my stary socks. sorry, long story. i have a lot of those....lol

somebody told me that 'ender's game' is good.
what are the maximum ride books? wat are they about?

i haven't read those, but i've heard good things about them.

the keys to the kingdom series is really good, and so is the outlander series.

I love The Outsiders! A classic book.

i dont actually mind it. its not too bad as far as school books go.

yick. that book bugged me for some reason. *shrug* no idea why, it just did. now, a good book is Anthem, by ayne rand. (no way did i spell that right...)

haha the Aeneid! i know about that... Aeneus helped get Rome started... he's the son of Venus (Aphrodite), and Romulus and Remus are his descendents, but sons of Mars (Ares)...

Romulus supposedly killed Remus (his twin brother) and founded Rome, naming it after himself.

he founded rome? wow... i feel dumb now. it was REALLY obvious and i never connected the two stories . romulus was a prat. and a vain one, at that!

i know! a lot of people had a theory that JKR was alluding to Romulus and Remus with Remus Lupid, which she was, but they thought she was the whole way. Like, they were wondering if Remus had a twin brother that would end up killing him or something. but no, she only did it because in the ancient lore, Romulus and Remus were tossed in a river to drown but they were saved by a she-wolf and were raised a little by her until this farmer guy found them.

So Remus = werewolf lol.

sure. i love those triangles too. i tend to write for the movieverse because i can bear to watch the movies (love 'em, actually ) but not the show, as i said before. and watching youtube vids about them led me to discover one of my new favorite songs, so it's all good .

well, some of the show fics aren't even really set in the show. they do the show like years in the future... i like them cuz Rogue's a wuss in the movies but she's kick I swear like a sailor! in the show.

harry potter fan fic is funny, cuz it so obviously goes their way

she starts out as a wuss, but she gets some guts eventually, you know. but yeah, that's the one thing they did better in the show. still hate it, though.
