Hey, I'm new

Hey guys, my name is Alyssa, I'm almost 18, I live in Wisconsin.

I got into the Twilight books because my friend Dani liked them so much that I just had to read them, and I've loved them ever since.

I don't really have a favorite Cullen, I fluctuate between Emmett and Jasper a lot, and of course I love Edward.

I'm also a big fan of Billy, I know he's a minor character, but something about him appeals to me and I'm not sure what.

So, that's me, I'm looking forward to meeting you all

Actually crazy Twilight addicts would be a good description of us. You'll find out soon enough just how crazy some of us really are. Well I guess while we're laying our claims, I might as well tell you that EMMETT IS MINE!! Lol. Not that anybody tries to steal him from me anyway... He's much less popular than Jasper and Edward. But hey, I can hardly complain!

i'm always amazed at how popular jasper is. you wouldn't expect it, considering the size of the part he has in the books. *muttermutter*

That's true. But I think a lot of people like the characters more that are open for interpretation. Emmett and Edward are really solid characters in the books (I'm not saying anything against Jasper here) but Jasper doesn't have a huge part (annoyingly enough) so people don't have any reason not to like him. (Not that anybody would read about Emmett or Edward and actually dislike them...)

good point. you can basically turn him into whatever you want. and that's the fun of using him ! *shakes head* we're twisting his character so much in the rpg. i can't believe some of the things i've said to him... he deserves it, though! i mean, he can't figure out who he wants to fall in love with, and then he bursts in where he's not wanted, and then... lol, typing those particular scenes is quite entertaining, though !

To answer your question, Anne, your brain was probably on vacation. With Smeagol (Lol, nobody else is going to understand that at all...)

it's a really long story, which is actually my mom's fault. see, the other day at dinner, she was talking about how she would drive my brother to karate because she needed to buy something. so i was like, "what do you need to buy?" and she was like, "pot." so then a whole conversation about pot followed, which ended with us deciding that my friend sara, who was the one i was talking to in skating, would be best placed to get some for us. (my mom wanted a flower pot, by the way ) so then i was talking to sara during practice and telling the entire conversation, and we were both cracking up so bad, and michelle, our coach (one of 4) was like, "What are you talking about?" and i was like, "pot" and she kinda stared at us. and then she was talking to tiwi (terrie, one of our other coaches) and tiwi was staring at us for the rest of practice. it was pretty funny, actually.

it probably was. i don't think i wanna be on vacation with smeagol... the orcs don't sound very fun . (and no, they won't, but who cares?)
