The not-so-newbie get to know you thing

Oh wow, look what I started..I didn't mean for a Brunette vs. Blonde war to break out, I was just joking when I said that hence the at the end. There's nothing wrong with blondes, I have several blonde friends and relatives and they're all really cool. Smart too. Actually, come to think of it they're some of the smartest people I know. And I know a lot of brunettes who are complete air-heads. So it really wouldn't be fair to judge a person, especially their intelligence by the color of their hair.

lol i think mostly people are all just kidding.

but yeah. i'm blonde. ish. but i tell blonde jokes, too, they're funny. i get good grades, but technically that doesn't mean i'm smart. i also have fun, contrary to popular belief.

i think it'd be fun to dye my hair black, just to see what it'd look like.

My mom let me get pink hylights. actually, she suggested it. it turned out more red though...they're gone now.

I can't dye my hair 'cause my mom would kill me. Except when I move to New Zealand then I can dye it whatever color I want 'cause my dad and his girlfriend don't really care.

I know I'm late getting onto this thread, but here I go anyway:

My name is Samantha, but you can call me Sam. I'm around 5'3" or 5'4", a passionate figure skater and writer (and english nerd ), and I love books. I have long, annoyingly thick, light brown hair that is getting cut soon, and light blue eyes. I also have freakishly pale skin because I spend so much time on the ice.
Umm... let me think. I'm Canadian, and I moved to Australia when I was ten.
I'm writing a series of books at the moment with a premises so complicated I can't even explain it.
I'm currently in the middle of the Australian competitive season for skating, and I started the season off with 3rd place out of nine skaters at the first competition last Sunday.

By the way, I don't support blondes or brunettes, because I am neither... outdoors, I'm pretty much a blonde, but indoors, you can't really tell... so I don't pick sides

Oh, and my parents wouldn't be happy with me dying my hair either. They'd freak if I went dark, because they're all the obsessed with the fact that I'm the only semi-blonde in the family (the rest of my family has really dark hair). I could get highlights (or lowlights ) if I wanted, but probably nothing more.

I have short blond hair, hazel eyes, darkish skin. im 4'11", i wear a size 41/2 shoe...
i love to read and write and get on the computer. and a butt load of other stuff but ya. i have to get off for my stupid little sister...:p she gets on my nerves. its the week that she has to spend with my mom. ick

I'm in Perth. But it's so big that no internet stalker will ever find me! MWAHAHA! And yeah, that'd be awesome if you came to Australia. I've been to Brisbane, and I loved it. Especially all the theme parks. If you go there, you HAVE to go to Movie World and Wet 'n' Wild, at LEAST. Dreamworld is good too, apparently, as is Sea World. (I'm just telling you these names because eventually they'll come in handy.)

And yeah... I lived in the nicest little town ever in Canada (just North of Toronto, about the smallest place ever) called Uxbridge. I looooooved it there, and I was so sad to leave. I had the arena in my backyard, basically. (Well, out the gate and down the hill )

Hey two people came to our school and talked about Australia, and we saing the G'day song, Waltzing Matilda, and your national anthem. Then we learned a whole bunch of other stuff and my brain hasn't retained half of it! lol

going back to the hair dying conversation, i can die mine any color i want so long as i buy it myself and clean up after myself. my mom told me that i could do anything i wanted that i paid for myself, including dying my hair, getting a tattoo, or weird piercings. *shrug* i have no money, though. *sigh*

Hey hey hey! me neither! I spend it all on drama competitons and band competitions and going to Silver Dollar City! I poor now! lol.

that's a good idea. unfortunately, my mom's the one who pays me, so she knows exactly how much money i have. and she makes me pay her back when she does lend me some, so i'm always in debt to her.

I think my mom's gunna let me dye my hair light brown. nothing extreme, but its a start! and then Jen can dye hers black or something.
