Breaking Dawn release parties!

my best friend won one of the first 3 spots to get BD. haha she was lucky. at the store, they had a dvd which had some of the mtv interviews, trailers, and clips on it that they kept repeating. everytime it said edward, all the girls screamed. i just rolled my eyes. lmao

I went to the BD release party at Borders in the city with some of my friends. There was a whole trivia night thing that we registered for in advance, and we all dressed up for it (I went as Jane, one of my friends went as Alice - with red leather pants - another wore a wedding dress and veil, and another made a big red cardboard truck that had elastics on it so she could wear it. We all smeared white foundation all over our faces, which was pretty freaky, seeing as I'm already pale).

Anyway, it was kind of embarrassing walking through the city like that, but we managed. We almost didn't get into the trivia thing even after our dramatic entrance because we were pretty late. But they let us sit on the floor (somebody got our table, even though we'd reserved it ) and we did it. We were an awesome team, but in the end we got equal third with some other team (out of 15 teams) and the friend who wore the wedding dress won the best costume prize, which was a movie poster, a BD t-shirt and that "A New Dawn" book, which is just a bunch of essays and stuff about the Twilight Saga.

So yeah, apart from all the creepy stares we got in the streets (some guy actually proposed to my friend who was wearing a wedding dress, and an old man kept on stopping and looking at us while we were taking pictures) it was awesome

that's funny that some guy did that lol! he sounds awesome. or creepy. i don't know.

but that party sounds WAY cooler and more organized than the one I went too... I wish they had that where I was.

Yeah your sounded a lot cooler then ours. I totally got one trivia question right!! I won a freaking Red Robin buck. LAME

It was pretty awesome. But actually, it was kinda poorly organised... The staff gave away our table even though we'd registered, and so since we were on the floor we got hardly any of the refreshments we'd been promised )

The trivia questions were pretty cool. I answered a lot of them for my team, but I was really mad at myself because there was one question that was like: "Who said this quote: 'You haven't changed a bit. I noticed a perceptible difference, but here you are, red-faced as always.'" - and I was thinking totally wrong, like thinking of the wrong part of New Moon, so I said Alice, and it was Emmett (DUH!). I couldn't believe I got an Emmett question wrong! He's my favourite character!

But yeah... I spent about five minutes trying to remember the name of Mike's family's store. My friend was like "It's something like... Newton Sports." Then I was like, "No, it's something with a lot of 'O's in it... Newton's Olympic Outfitters!" So they loved me after that

Hahahathe only one I got right was: "What did Bella think she saw on the water?" A FLASH OF FIRE! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha yeah I didn't really participate in the trivia game. Too many screaming fangirls for me.

dude the debate was so funny especially when this one kid on team Edward walked up and plain out stated "Edward is sexy and romantic and Jacob it just HAIRY!" LMAO oh but the best is when this kid walked in on a leash with a squeaky toy in his mouth posing as Jake lol. Don't get me wrong I love Jake but THAT WAS HILARIOUS!

i wish we would have had a debate, that sounds like fun. and lmao i would have died if someone dressed like that! i love jake, but you gotta admit that is hilarious as hell

I actually saw a lot more people than expected with Team Jacob shirts. My friend wore one, but when I asked her about it she was like "No, no no! I think Bella and Edward belong together! I'm on team Jacob for ME!"

my friend went to the Harry Potter release party for book 7 and they had a Snape: friend or foe? debate and she went to the foe side just because there was nobody else on it.

Lol nice. My favorite part was whne the book came out (duh) but girls were shreiking and walking around holding their copies like someone was gonna steal it...goood times...goooood times...

haha somehow the thing was messed up and so me and my friend didn't get numbers or wristbands or whatever so we were gonna have to wait at the very very end of the line, so when they started giving people their books we just went to the door so we could see the girl who got the first one lol

but yeah we ended up just getting in line anyway randomly and they didn't even check for wristbands... woooo

I got book number 36!!!! I saved my receipt and wristband. ((I'm weird, I know))
