Yeah, it's a good rule to live by. Wow, ten years apart? That's a huge gap. I'm only a year and five months older than my brother, and my sister is only a year and four months older than me (somehow the months work out so that my brother and I are only one school year apart and my sister and I are two apart, though). That's probably why we fight so much... lol

Anne, that sounds like you're pretty good at protecting your stuff

The annoying thing about my sister borrowing my things (like headbands, hair clips, etc.) is that she wears them, and then she wears them again the next day without asking, and just assumes that she's allowed to. And then she just keeps on wearing them, and if I ask for them back, she's like "Oh, but I need it!"

Yeah, I am sure my brother and I would fight if we were only months apart from each other!

I wouldn't know or anything, but if my sibling did that I would probably start going crazy or being like Anne and protect my stuff with violence. That must get really annoying to have to deal with them always taking your stuff!

Lol, you probably would. Actually, we don't fight as much as we used to, but let me tell you, it used to be PRETTY darn bad...

Yeah, I used to protect my stuff with violence, but my parents didn't like that. I don't think they were comfortable with the fact that their pipsqueak of a daughter was throwing punches at her older sister and stronger brother... My brother used to be really violent too, but he grew out of it as well. Now he just steals my food (like, literally steals cookies right out of my hand. I'm serious!) But yeah, it's really annoying when she acts like she owns my stuff after I lend it to her once...

i know my brother and i fight, and we're 3 and a half years apart. it's not as bad right now as it is sometimes, though. having my dad around really makes a difference. not sure which i prefer, though. freedom is a nice thing...

my parent's aren't too thrilled when i resort to violence either. and i think they're a wee bit concerned that i, who am not in particularly good shape (though my legs are strong, courtesy of skating ) can beat my brother, who's been in karate for a while now.

i almost killed my little brother one time...very bad. he pushed me into a door nob and I hit my eye, (i fell into it) and so I started to like choke him, i got grounded for like ever.....

Eek, that sounds bad. I'd be pretty mad if my brother shoved me into a doorknob and made me hit my eye, though.

Yeah, Anne, it is infuriating. The first couple of times I just laugh and go get another one, but then it starts to get on my nerves and I have to hide the cookie or whatever it is and run away from him. He's about three times stronger than me. (And suddenly about three inches taller than me. I really do NOT know how that happened. He's younger than me, for heaven's sake!!)

Haha, well you must just be naturally fit, or strong, then. Or else your brother is going to be a wimp for the rest of his life no matter how many self-defense lessons he takes

that is bad! my brother claims i almost killed him by shoving behind a door, but i don't believe him. i've made him bleed a couple times, though.

i hate it when people who are younger than me are taller! like my best friend, who is in 8th grade and more than 2 inches taller than me

one of my friends sat on my lap today and farted at lunch. he was like, "oh man, that's gunna stink!" and i was like, "I have 2 little brothers, i'm used to it." and the truth is, it didn't even stink, it smelled.....minty. wierd huh?

that is weird. but yeah, i can see how having two brothers would make you immune to things like that.

Just having one annoying brother can make you immune to that! And that is so funny it smelled minty, lol!

good point. i know what you mean. do you have one? 'cause mine certainly has made me immune to such things!

i have 4 brothers. 2 younger brothers that i see every freakin day of my miserable life! sorry, venting a little anger here......

well, i don't see 2 of them all the time so its not so bad. just the wondering how they are is what gets to me. same with my older sister and her daughter/son. *sigh* i worry too much.

oh, okay. it's easier if they're not always there, i suppose. when you say daughter/son, do you mean one of each?

no i mean that i just heard she was pregnant (long story, don't ask how i figured it out. i'll say tomorrow or something. i don't have time right now) and i still don't know if it was a boy or girl...

oh, okay. my cousin had her baby recently, and now i wanna see her again !

Okay, now i have time to post the story...long one like i said.

Okay, so I was sitting in my favorite seat on the bus, three from the back, when this kid that I'd talked to a couple of times started talking to me. I was like "uh huh" and stuff like that, but then he goes, "Hey, do you have sister named Kendra Nichole?" I was like, how the hell did you know that!? i was like freakin out big time. then he goes, well, i'm her cousin by marriage. i was like, dude, we're friggin half-step cousins. haha, only in missouri! then he goes, did you know that she's having a baby? I was like, well considering that I have never, EVER seen or heard about her in my life, no I didn't...Then he was like, well, maybe one day you can call me and we can set something up. I was like, Dude (i was in a dude stage then...kinda skatery, but not really) that would rock my friggin socks! and i haven't heard from the guy since. he moved away...*sigh* guess i never will.....

Wow, that's a weird coincidence. You've never seen or heard about your sister? Wow, all these people with crazy family situations... My family is just boring. My sister is nosy and my brother is antisocial. And my parents are limiting. End of story. Lol
