i love this site!

Yeah, it's not exactly oval shaped all the time, but that's the idea. It's basically just the giant field area where everybody plays football and stuff. Our homeroom is on the other side of the oval (and up a hill), in a building that doesn't even belong to the school, which is why I complain about it all the time

In middle school we had to wear really ugly, thick, un-breathable bottle-green t-shirts with the PE logo plastered across the front. Then they introduced the alternative, which is basically a white tank top-type thing (still with some bottle-green on it) that's slightly thinner material. Our shorts are navy blue with white stripes down the side (but mine are my sister's old ones, so they've faded to a weird purpley sort of colour now ).

Cool That's an advantage of being small, I suppose. And you don't have to pass your clothes on to anybody

We had something like that in middle school. I had to walk out there to get to my home ec. class and it sucked sometimes because of the weather.

Purple's my favorite color! I bet they look way cooler since they're purple now.

It's great! It's funny to see their reactions to it and everything.

Yeah...I think I would have a hard time finding anyone who could fit into my clothes once I've outgrown them and they definately wouldn't be a highschooler.

our school has a courtyard? but there's convienient little covered walkways so you can get anywhere without getting rained on. but yeah i papered the courtyard last night at like 2 am lol. that's kind of funny i'm talking about it now.

so i'm late... again... but oh well. i'm anne, by the way. -grins- as in, sam's mental twin. mental because we think alike but don't look anything like each other...

anyway, to respond to the actual conversation happening here:

we don't have anything like an oval at our school. it's all one big building.

i love winter! right now i'm tanned from vacation, but soon i'll be pale again. and snow is amazing!!

school uniforms are icky. thankfully, we don't have to wear any, but i still think they should just go away and die...

We had a cover too but it gets windy and I'm impatient so sometimes I would just cut across the lawn and get rained on...the looks I got were pretty hilarious so it was worth it.

Not really, I love the rain. I hate how my clothes feel afterwards though and I got a lot of mud on my pants but whatever.

i don't much care for rain. i much prefer SNOW!!! -grins- but yeah, sitting in wet clothes is annoying.

We don't get a lot of snow here.

lol that's pretty much what i was about to say! Actually, we don't get snow. At least in my city.

We had an ice day my freshman year and in 5th grade! We missed a day of school in 5th and 2 my freshman year. That was awesome. It was particularly ironic because the ice day happened right as we were watching Al Gore's Global Warming video in biology bwahaha

but it snowed in dallas on easter my freshman year, too. That was beyond weird. I was there.

ice days! we don't get ice days. we're just expected to get up earlier and deal. -muttermutter- that's the thing i'm looking forward to the least: driving in the snow.

snow in dallas? nice! hehe, it usually snows on easter here. easter egg die makes pretty colors in the snow!

ooooo. that's cool.

but yeah we get a little ice and the whole city shuts down because nobody knows how to drive in ice here

like in dc. they get 4 inches of snow and it's an emergency... we all laughed at them.

lol we just need a layer of ice that lasts more than a few hours.
