| so it's really really depressing that she won't publish midnight sun, and i really want to murder the people who leaked it to the internet. they were people she TRUSTED!!
but, anyway, what do we think of the posted 12 chapters? i haven't finished them yet, but so far it's really really amazing.

| pretty sure that i'm pissed that they aren't publishing it. i don't understand why NETSPEAK SUCKS can't just wait for stuff instead of ruining it for the rest of us...sorry i just need to vent on the subject. *takes a deep breath and sighs* all better now | |

| omg same here. i mean stephenie is and always will be my favourite author, but seriously is this really necessary? I know her pride is hurt, but this happens all the time ESPECIALLY if you're as famous as she is! Putting it on hold indefinately is blowing the whole thing out of proportion. Personally, i think she is just majorly stressed about this and the backlash of breaking dawn(which i totally dont understand but thats for another forum:) ) and she just needs some time to relax and unwind without any more pressure so she can focus on other things. I'm sure she'll eventualy continue writing it, i mean its not like all those voices are gonna go away rofl, and she seems very greatful of her fans, i dont think she would give us a little taste of midnight sun and then take it away and be like i'm done. But thats probably mostly wishful thinking on my part ... sorry this was really long but i needed to get it all off my chest! | |

| i myself have not read it, and will not read it unless it gets published, cause its only the first 200 something pages and thats not the best part to me, i wanted the meadow scene and the fight at the end | |

| i still haven't finished it, but i think she's being selfish. i mean, okay, so her pride's hurt. what about US?! does she think we're satisfied with 200 some pages of what should be a 600 or so page book? i have half a mind to finish it myself. that gives me 4 huge twilight projects and no time. yay me! | |

| i agree with you. i don't really see how she could get this far in a book and then start another. i would get confused, but hey, that's just me. i've been reading midnight sun at school and so far, i really like it. it really does need to get published, though :[ | |

| lets hope so. she may grow up one of this days and publish it. the lost is her's. if she published the book thousand of fans would buy it. like this she pnly can make fans furious with her behavior. | |

| i do sort of see her point. not that i agree with her, of course, but i'd be pissed too. but i'm a fangirl down to the core of my being, and so i care for nothing other than getting my hands on as much twilight as i can. but getting back on topic... (jeez, off topic without even making two pages. is that a record or something? ) i still haven't finished it (no time.) i just wish i could print it out, but i'm not rick enough to waste that much ink. but, from what i've read so far, it seems really good. i really love the insight into the entire cullen family. edward's talent gives us a unique perspective on all the vampires, something bella never managed to achieve in four books. being me, i especially love the interaction with jasper. i'm still disappointed with how minor a character he is, but at least in midnight sun, the little he has to say is very insightful into his character. | |

| i read the whole leak a few weeks ago.. i thought it was amazing. when i found out that she wasn't finishing the book i freaked out! but on her website it just says the books on 'hold' so im keeping my fingers crossed! i loved reading it from Edward's perspective. it definately makes the story more real, for me at least! | |

| on hold is good. not as good as being worked on, but better than thrown away.
agree about edward making things more real. he understands things, which bella doesn't, so lots of little things suddenly make sense now. -grins-

| All I wanted to read was the freakin baseball scene. That's all!
But I respect Stephenie's desicion. It's her book, and her right to end it. We should be greatful that she made it public to begin with.
And Emmett and Jasper are so amazing in MS that I can't stand it!!!!!!
