Hey guys and gals, I'm sweetblood. I found this site not too long ago, though it was cool, so I joined. If i'm not doing this 'new topic' thingy correctly, please forgive me, I'm computer challenged.
I thought this would be a good way to converse with others about the Twilight series, vampire/werewolf stuff, and or other book related things.

So what is it that you like most about Twilight, who are your favorite characters, thinking about joining one of the cults?

I like that the author created a whole new way of looking at vampires, (the idea of vampires has always intrigued me) from other books that I have read. This in book though, it's the characters I love.
My favorite characters would have to be Edward, Alice, and Jasper. However I like all of the characters, each with his or her own quark. Edward, for one reminds me of one of my all time favorite character Louis, form Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. Both of them seem so tortured by what they are to the point that they seem like they are just waiting to be put out of their misery. Alice on the other hand seems to be at ease with who and what she is (though she can't remember her life as a human, so that's probably why). I like how she is portrayed as a creature of grace, and just her over all character is outstanding. She seems to be someone who could win the "greatest best friend" award of the year. And the shopping, I can't help it, but I love shopping too. Ha,ha! Jasper is hard to explain for me. I guess its the way he carries himself, and the aura that he brings to whatever room he is in.
I have been thinking about becoming a member to one of the cults, but for now I'm undecided.
What do you like most about Alice? How did you decide to become a member of the Alice Cult?

I like Alice for the same reasons you do. I like her bubbly personality, how she always seems to have so much positive energy. She's also funny without trying to be. A lot of the things she says and does in the books make me laugh. Plus she's like a pistol. Even though she's the smallest, she's not helpless and can take care of herself. She's just a great character.

I also like Jasper, he's my favorite male character. I like how he's always so quiet and tends to hang back from everything. It makes him seem more mysterious I guess. But he's also sweet and caring at the same time. Plus I like the fact that he's whole heartily in love with Alice, and would do anything for her. They make such a great pair.

About Alice's Cult, I joined because Alice is my #1 favorite character (Jasper takes 2nd place) Plus it looked like a really fun cult to join.

EDWARD!

Yeah, Alice has got to be one of my fav. characters for those reasons. I took the Cult Quiz and it looks like my Cult is.....drum roll....the Alice Cult!!! I'm not sure how I register for it though.

I think one of the things I like most about Jasper is his history. He knows a lot more about how cruel and cut-throat other vampires can be. It is one of the things that I love most about Amelia Atwater-Rhodes books. Each one shows a different aspect to the world of vampires. For example: In the Forests of the Night (book title) shows how pasts can collide with the present, and the strong bond between siblings, unfortunately, can be broken.

I agree with you on that one, Alice and Jasper make one great couple.

Don't mind Lilly's little outburst, she's in love with Edward and is part of the Edward Cult. Glad you're apart of the Alice Cult with us now, we always have a good time.
