yeah. only if you read bad vampire fics written by teenage girls, they all seem like twilight spin-offs. (though not you, sam. i've read some of your stuff, and it's GOOD! i'm sure yours isn't a bad spin-off.) i tried to write several, but i always gave up because i looked at my plot line and i was like, "yup, twilight spin off." *sigh*

my plots are generally fairly original, i rarely do fanfics.

i do both. i tend to do original plots in my fanfics, though. i just like playing with the characters.

i dont do to well at others characters so i make my own, ive found a writing comp with a word limit of 2000 interested?

sure, why not? is it a worldwide thing?

i love working with other peoples' characters, and i've been told that i'm good at it. it's fun to make them do things they would never do in "real life".

ummm, make up you story and then pm it to me or somesuch, i'll put it on a cd and then post it in the open catagory (thats where im putting mine)

less then 2000 words and as ong as you dont swear too much you should be fine with whatever.

Dang, a short story competition? I bet I'm too late. I wish I could have found one with a more leniant word limit, like that one. *sigh* Why can't they limit you to 10,000 or something? That's more my style
