An Everlasting Memory

I don’t know what to say to make this any better at all
I don’t think there is anything to prepare you for this down fall
I wish I would have told you, but I was scared
And the thought of losing you prematurely I couldn’t have bared
It wont ever be the same with this everlasting memory
I know for sure I couldn’t handle having you with me
But know you are just as much at fault as I
Sitting here letting me take the blame, and smiling is your only lie
I’ll never let this go away, I couldn’t ever forget anyway
But trust me when I say you’ll regret this
And if you don’t, I know I’ll be what you miss
Never knowing will drive you insane
You’ll freak and fight, you’ll make me cry
You’ll take the pain, and you’ll get high
Don’t let yourself remember the good times, only the bad
So when I leave your I swear like a sailor! behind it wont it won’t be so hard and you’ll be glad
Don’t worry, it wouldn’t have worked out anyway
There’s nothing about you that would have ever made me want to stay
Forget the cute things I do when mad
Or the scent of the perfume that I wear
Oh, and when you lay down to sleep
Lay in the middle of the bed that we used to share
You’ll never know what hit you when I walk away
You’ll be blowing up my phone for just one more day
You don’t see it now but then again they never do
Once I’m gone you’ll realize everything that I never meant to you
But by that time I’ll be with the person that always knew
So I hope she was worth it
I hope you had fun
Because your future wife has finally won

Forever Untold



Sick with disgust for the unforgivable things that you did,
I was the sorry excuse for the things that you hid
You’ll never see all the torment you caused me
All the agony and despair there could ever possibly be
Ripping my heart from my chest
All the while I was treading water
and passing every single test
You’re the sick individual that haunts my nightmares
I can’t close my eyes without seeing your pointed stares
I am the one you blame, blame yourself
I wasn’t in the wrong it was you
Now you’re worried not knowing what to do
No one other than you made this choice
If that wasn’t what you wanted,
you should have used your voice
But wait you did!
Honestly all I ever wanted was a friend
You wanted to see how far my heart could bend
This wasn’t supposed to happen
I shouldn’t care that it did, but I do
I tried so hard not to fall for you
Through all of this I gained nothing but a broken soul
And for now the rest of my story can stay forever untold
I guess your right it’s for the best
Now and forever I’ll lay this pain to rest

The loss of a best friend



A friend through and through,
I’ll never let you get hurt, I’ll keep my promises true.
That is what I expected from you as well.
But that’s a lie I’ve seen through, that only time could tell.
Broken memories, never to be mentioned again
Because the thought of such happy times makes my heart seem to bend.
So much has happened in such a short time,
With one change it all stopped on a dime
I wish I could change it, but I am not to blame
I knew this would happen and it drove me insane
I thought you were stronger, I thought you saw through it all
But it’s hard to have personality,
when you see the pretty party lights at nightfall
it’s okay, I understand you go have fun
hang out and party with all your friends, but one.
honestly I’m not mad at you at all
but when it all goes wrong I wont answer when you call
I really tried to warn you, it’s all that I could do
You witnessed it first hand, how’d you let this happen to you?
I wish that you were stronger,
I wish this was something we could mend,
Because it sucks to know, that I just lost my best friend.

Going through the hardest point in time
It only gets harder as I go
I know it brings more pain and with more pain comes tears
Spilling over the rims of my eyes
Tears flow out fluidly..
Only to cause more pain....
Why does this hurt me so?
I just want this pain to go
Just take it all away....

I lay there in my bed wondering if he'll ever come... I fall asleep I feel you there... Hayley texts me,*It was Jake's turn.* she text with a smile. I texted back, *I know it makes it worth while* Knowing he's watching me as I sleep might make someone else think what a creep! But no...it's nothing like that...I smiled because I knew he was there...but then I frowned....Will he ever show his face while I'm awake?
