RENT, which is an amazing musical, is closing in June. I have the money for tickets to see it, and someone already offered to take me to NY. But my dad won't let me go! I've been crying since I learned of the closing, but my dad doesn't get it! He says its just a musical. It's my escape--not just a musical.

When I have kids I'm going to let the go to NY to see musicals. I'll show him....

I saw one called hairspray and i LOVED IT!!!

I think my mom likes them but I just haven't went to one cept the one I went to for school.

Ha ha I think they might just diss me and spread nasty rumors about me. If its the person I'm thinking about. But if it ain't her then I would get beat up.

I like musicals I haven't seen any (like, staged, I mean) but I really liked Hairspray. A lot of people I know didn't really like it, but I thought it was really quite good.

i watched it myself and quite like it, but i had to give up watching near then end coz we have a shoddy DVD player that doesnt work properly.

Aww that sucks.

I thought the beginning of Hairspray was kind of dull, but the end left you feeling really happy, which is probably why I remember it being so good.

I hate faulty DVD players. We play DVDs in our big home theatre, which is pretty reliable, but just yesterday the stupid drive got jammed and every time we pressed the eject button it just clicked, sounding like it was completely stuck, and didn't come out, even when we tried to pry it open with our fingers. We just used the PS2 to play the DVD instead.

Whats really bugging the heck out of me right now is THE BRAINWASHSING ROBOTS ON THE DISNEY CHANNEL!!! As in Hannah Montana, High School Musical and, The Jonas Brothers. They are talent-less hacks who are seducing kids into there cult of bubble gum and merchandise. I don't know why everybody is obsessed with high School Musical!! They drive me insane. It is poorly written and the songs just don't make sense. Zac efron, Vanesa whats-her-face are robots that the disney channel has created in order to make more money. They can't sing, they can't dance, and they definitly can't act! And now that they've been in the movie they think that they can record albums!! They can't sing for CRAP!! I saw Ashley whats-her-face's CD in a store the other day and I was tempted to burn them all!!! AHHH! I hate these talentless hacks who are corrupting the minds of kids today!! UGH!
