I agree. It does seem like everyone changes in Eclipse.

Maybe It's just becuase Bella is getting older and everybody knows whats going to happen soon...or is supposed to happen soon.

Yeah he is but I think it's only becuase he's still trying to prove that he won't leave Bella....or maybe he is finally getting comfortable with the idea of Bella being one of them and he can love her just THAT much more now.

Hi guys. I don't know if anyone knows me, I have an account on the lex, and I was part of cullenism before it all got changed... I kinda skipped the intro page. aha.

anyway, I think that with eclipse, stephenie might've been trying too hard to make the audience happy. Like, it seemed like she was making the characters do things that they wouldn't normally do. I assume everyone here has read eclipse, so I'll give examples. The bed that Edward got, for example. It seemed like something an Edward fan who wants Bella and Edward to have sex would put into a fanfic, not like something he would actually do. Same thing with Bella kissing Jacob; it seemed like a stretch, something that Bella wouldn't really do.

and obviously the other characters are going to change too. They're all dynamic. I think that especially Jasper and Rosalie are developed in a very positive way.

I really do agree with you on that one.

I know! Everything is changed. I especially don't get the Bella loves Jacob part, but of course Edward gets Bella a huge bed. I mean, would YOU want ur true love sleeping on ur couch, or a great, comfy bed. Exactly!

I think that Stephenie does things her own way and that what the characters did in eclipse is exactly what they would have done. I dont agree with everything. But i will NOT arugue against it simply because how Stephenie wrote it is how it's ment to be, whether me or anyone likes it or not. And i do understand that Bella loves Jake in her own way, even if i was horrified that she asked him to kiss her.

I agree she does things her own way and they turn out awesome to. Yep she loves him like a brother I think, but thats just me.

I fink Bella's and jacob's relationship is like brother and sister. Or like best friends who have know eachother for forever (Which is true because in her summers in Forks, she would hang out with him and his sisters) and he has secretly been crushing on her for forever. But I swear if Edward and Bella dont stay together Im gonna stab someone.

In the epolouge of Eclipse where do you think Jacob was running to??

I'm going to apologize in advance for this but I think Bella is being uber sefish! I don't think she should be with Jake....Her and Edward are meant to be together...Even though I'd much rather have Edward..lol...

even without vampires i think that they would have a very difficult relationship because of the side of him that kissed here and totaly freaked out when he found out when they were going to change her i think that the fact that he was never going to be "her jacob" again it would of been hard for her to be wholely happy with him compaired with bella and edwards open and lovingly equall relationship

There's no competition between Edward and Jacob - Edward is easily the one. Jacob is cool in his own way, but I couldn't agree more - I like Jake, but I LOVE Edward.

There is no comparison
edward is always going to rule over jacob.
But then again that is my own opinion
I honestly think that jacob is way to concieted
