i liked jacob but respect totally went for him went he kissed bella and told her he was going to die if she didnt but i still cried at the end of the book when he left

I agree with ya! i liked him up until the point that he kissed Bella then threatened to kill himself if she didn't kiss him again. but--my friends are all going to kill me for this--i actually feel bad for him.

i kinda do too, but that was major bs. he should have used her feeling for him like that. that was a dickmove for sure. i hated him at the moment more than ever! he broke everyone's heart right there! his (whether he knows it or not) bella's, and edward's

yup. i hated him for like a month, but then i started thinking about it (i still don't forgive him for that) and i really do feel bad for him. he was in love (or so he thought) with Bella, and then the Cullens came into view. If Bella had not met Edward, she would have ended up with Jacob, if you think about it.

i know that but if you remember he was n't in love with bella untill after the cullens were already there! so things that would have been really don't matter. all that matters is what is and what will be

but i don't think that she would have apealed to him because he is like 4 years younger than her.

but that would all depend on how Bella felt about it. I think that him being older looking and more...suductive is what got Bella...

i love jacob, i feel like he is better for her in that becoming a vampire is so permanent (obvi) but it would be so painful for her family. and i always root for the underdog :-/
but if jacob imprinted bella would be left with nothing, though im prett sure edwardwould come back for her...
stephenie is just such an amazing author, that you can really feel every little thing for each character... i love it. its totally engrossing.

Jacob did not imprint on Bella (thank GOD!) there would be like wayy too much conflict if he did....

yeah it would be to much conflict because if she went with jacob she would always have edward on her mind and vice versa

and think she should have both.

that would be like terrible. then niether Jake nor Edward would have all of her; and they deserve a whole person. I don't exactly love Jacob, but he does deserve a good girl to be with.

yeah i think they do deserve the whole person and if she does have both they will always be fighting what with being enemies and such
