The Cover

Okay, I think I might have figured out the meaning of the cover. This took me a lot of thinking at night (I have no life, don't blaim me). I think that the chess thing is supposed to like be something about mind over matter. *shrug* i don't really know, but that is my theory. lol

I don't know but it's a good theory. I think it might have something to do with Jacob and Bella. Bella being the queen chess piece, Jacob being the red Pawn. You know Jacob always watching her from a far.

yeah, you see, i haven't really looked at it, i've mainly heard about it, so it was just my guess. lol

i think the cover is the red pawn as old bella and the white queen is the new bella because the pawn is the weakest piece on the board while the queen is the strongest. :] i dont know but its a guess.[/b]

i believe de red pawn is jacob ( red - fire - werewolf) and the white queen is bella ( white - ice - vampire).

i think that after re re reading again eclipse. the poem about fire and ice gave that idea. i i think it makes sense

i like the idea about it being the old and the new bella. that's a cool theory.

yeah. my favorite is still the one from eclipse, but this one's good too.

i might be an outcast then.. i kinda hate the cover. it's just not as simple and unique as the others. it makes me sad actually.

i think each cover is related to the book. so it can show a diferent bella. a even more grown up bella. so the cover as to be a evolution of the others.

I agree with pretty much everyone yeah I noticed that this cover isn't as simple and elegant which makes it a lot less beautiful but I still like and I also agree that the eclipse is my favorite as for the theories they are all great I really like the one about the new Bella and the old Bella but I also like the one about fire and ice so All I know is I can' wait to read it!!

Neither do I. let´s hope that the book is still good as the cover. ... or even better. Any that is the meaning of the cover. when we got the book we will know the real reason for the cover.

I don't know about the cover... It kind of doesn't fit in with the others. But it's still pretty cool. The other day I was playing chess with my friend, and I put a queen in the middle of the board with a pawn a little ways behind it, and I was like "Okay, now look at it from this angle... and guess what it is!!"

The hope is the last to die!!

That could be it. We'll just have to wait until the book comes out... but I don't FEEL like waiting!!

Well the fact that it's a Queen (the strongest piece) and a pawn (the weakest) has to mean something and I dont think she would just make a random color unless it was to just make it tie in a little with the others. OH WHO KNOWS!!! I JUST WANT TO READ IT NOWWWW

I think you're right, Emma, with the whole strongest piece/weakest piece thing. But we're going to have to wait until the book comes out for more detail... ARGH. Why do we have to wait??? I want a freaking TIME MACHINE!!

me too. but i still thinking the colour is an important part too. the red and tha white must tell something. we only need to find out what it is...
