Good idea I'll tell you what - in January you can give me all the hints and tips you've got, and then by February I'll hopefully be a relatively safe driver. Then I can skip the whole juvie part and get straight to the yelling... for no apparent reason

sam, you'd better not kill a lot of people! 'cause then i might too, and i'd rather not do that. then again, i'll be driving first, so i'll let you know.

i think i'm going to have fun driving, though. i'll actually learn how to get places on my own !

yeah, that's true. i have patience, so i probably shouldn't have issues with that then.

The dmv sucks just to warn you, they are so slow in that place.

Well thats good, see sometimes I don't have like any patience at all and can get some road rage, but not real bad road rage or anything!

It'll be good to be able to go places without having to bug your parents about it When my sister gets her proper permit (she's got her learner's permit now, which means she can't drive without an adult in the car) she can drive me to the arena and we can leave before my mom gets home, which means we can actually get there in time for our lessons for once

I'm pretty impatient, so that'll probably be a bad thing. But I'm also a little paranoid (particularly about car accidents) so that should balance it out fairly well

yeah, it will. my friend sara is starting the process this summer, so we'll get ours at about the same time. she'll be able to drive her sister around before i will, though. lol, we're going to say that jana's my sister so that i can drive her. people think she's my sister anyway, so there shouldn't be a problem .

it should indeed. and i doubt you'll be in any accidents. and, if you are, then i think i should swear off driving .

True. I was playing Mario Kart Racing at my friend's house today (on her Wii) and let's just say my steering is... more than slightly dodgy. Actually, it's more like I go so crazy that I can't even stay on the road and keep falling into pits and water.

i'm SO bad at that kind of game! i fail utterly. *sigh* as i say, big empty parking lot with lots of space to swerve and veer out of control.

So am I! I came last on every single race, except for one where I came fourth or something (out of twelve) because it was a fairly open racetrack. You're right. Anything else would just be far too dangerous.

i can't even do it on a computer with the arrow keys, and let us not even TALK about bumper cars! i'm very good at spinning around in circles! . yeah. i'd rather not kill any more people than i have to. at least, not on purpose.

That is how I started out driving anne, in a big parking lot with no poor soul around!

Yeah, my sister started that way too. So I guess it works (mind you, my mom is still glued to the ceiling every time my sister's driving...)

OOH I suck at bumper cars too! I can crash into people, sure, but I still can't steer. And I get crashed into a lot, too
