Oh my gosh Lindz! I need one of those..lol.
The only thing I like about the cold is that the air is crisp. But I love it the summer time, when it's real early and still cool out, and you can see the morning due clinging to every thing...*sigh* I miss summer.

Canadian summer was nice, but Australian summer is... an oven. That's the only way to put it. And it carries on for too long, so there's hardly any spring or fall, just heat. I hate it.

i hate it when everybody says they are freezing and it feels like a thousand degrees in the room. i don't like wearing hoodies or nething like that. i would rather wear a long sleeve shirt or something like that. i like it when its cold.....sometimes. depends on how cold it is.

Oh no, our school really isn't rich! It is where different groups of teachers go on these trips and they go with EF tours, everyone has to pay for themselves, including teachers! Anyways, I can't remember all the places we are going in Australia, but I know we are going to Sydney for sure! That would be so cool if I saw you while I was there! We could annoy everyone with our obsession, lol!!!!!!!!!!!!

My school has... shall we say, a questionable budget. Last time we went on a camp they sent us to Tammin. It's the worst place in the world. It's got flies and fields, and that's about it. My advice to anybody who ever visits Australia, DON'T GO THERE. Our school wastes away all their money on the stupid, dodgy music program (which I pulled out of after last year) so they haven't really got their priorities straight.

Dodgy as in evil teachers that draw you in by saying the music program is so perfect and fun, and then throw a million impossible tests at you, yell at you for missing even one lesson, and tell you that music takes priority over every other part of school. They're all stuck up and moronic. I guess it's not dodgy, just too strict. Either way, I hated it. I played the trumpet, but I really sucked, which was part of the reason I quit.

That's good that you have a good program at your school. I'm actually glad I quit, because I got a whole lot of pressure taken off of me by pulling out. I used to be in a choir in primary school, and I was apparently one of the better singers there. *sigh* those were the days...

i suppose it's a matter of priorities: music or skating? i choose to do both recreationaly, but i couldn't do both seriously. i miss primary school, i really do. i wish i could do it over at another school. preferably one where i had no responsibilities and a lot of friends.

Well I guess you already know which one I chose to do seriously. I quit music (in terms of decided to blow off all my trumpet lessons, and as a result get yelled at by my teacher) around the same time I picked skating up full-on. I'm much happier doing skating though And I wish I still had no responsibilities... unfortunately, responsibilities are impossible to escape.

if you love skating, then stick with it! i like both fairly evenly, but neither enough to get serious. the only thing i care about enough to get truly serious about is my writing. they are... i hate them, though.

I will Skating is fun recreationally too, I remember that from my less serious days. I'm planning on getting serious about my writing (heck, I'm already serious about it!) as well. I just hope I can balance my time evenly... between those two things, I mean - just forget about school I hate responsibilities too.

i don't have nearly enough dedication to go serious with my skating. i've gotten about as good as i'll ever get and i'm happy with that. i'm going to major in creative writing, so i'd better buckle down and get properly serious before then. oh, who needs school? and responsibility should just go and die.

Well at least you're happy. Happiness is the thing that I really want to get out of skating - and of course I'm very competitive, so I like getting good and having bragging rights I'm hoping to major in creative writing too, but I don't think my parents will let me get away with that. You're right. Responsibility should jump off a cliff.

i'm not competitive at ALL. it drives my mom up the wall, especially when she thinks i SHOULD be competitive about things like grades and school and whatnot. why wouldn't they? it's your life, after all! i want to push responsibility off said cliff!

Well, there's a difference between us then I was really shocked in grade 7, because my teacher made a really accurate judgement on me. Our class was talking about who was competitive, and there was this girl who was always really comeptitive in races and stuff (even though I always won the sprints ) and everyone said she was the most competitive in the class, but the teacher said it was me. She said I was "silently competitive," which perfectly sums it up. I guess my parents can't really have any say in what I do, but they'd both be really disappointed, because I have the grades to do other stuff (I do now, but I think I'll die in grade 11 & 12) Me too! And I want there to be huge spiky rocks at the bottom of the cliff.

Naw, you will not die, its actually pretty fun, yeah you get a lot of homework some times but for the most part its cool...

okay, so at least we aren't total clones. "silently competitive." i like that . true, they would... i guess you'll need to compromise. *pout* i hate compromising when i really REALLY want something!. ooh, can i be the spiky cacti sprinkled between the spiky rocks?

i'm going to die next year too. full schedule, all honors classes, plus skating plus debate plus japanese club. yikes!

My eleventh grade is kinda busy but next year will be so fun and empty. i will have about four study halls a day. : )
