i moved around a lot, so we could never get one. we've been here for... holy god, it really has been 10 years, hasn't it? (sorry, i'm just going slightly into shock here. please forgive me) anyway, i still haven't managed to convince them to get one. i really do want a cat. a cute black one called Vercingetorix.

Anne, Vercingetorix is an awesome name! And black cats are adorable. That's about the only superstition I don't follow, the one about them being unlucky. And wow, you've lived in the same place for ten years? That's a lot...

i had to get rid of my puppy. we didn't even have him for a freakin week!!! he was to mean. he bit my new step-dad and younger cousin. it was sad. i almost cried.

We had this little beagle that was running around my house one time so we brought it inside. we were going to keep it but then the owner came knocking on the door and was like "Have you seen a-- Oh, my God! Come here, girl. Good girl Sadie!" i was like, Darn you! (but i had a different word in there...) lol

aww, that's too bad! i would hate for that to happen! we were going to adopt our neighbor's cat if they forgot him, but they didn't. *sigh*

my family+dogs= bad luck...and lots of it. lol

That sucks that your family has bad luck with dogs. We've never had a dog, so we wouldn't know. We only ever have small pets. I REALLY want a cat though

Once in Canada there was a stray cat (well it looked like a stray anyway) that kept on coming to our back deck, and we fed it stuff and even named it (Polka... pathetically enough ) but then we moved for a year and when we came back he was gone

aww, that sucks. we have a cat in france, but she's a one person cat and that person isn't me . actually, when i was bitty and we lived there, we had a cat called Me-chat (i'm assuming that's how you spell it) who was the sweetest cat ever. but then she ran away . and then my aunt got a truly EVIL cat who hated everyone, but she died (the cat, not the aunt) and now my aunt has her new cat, who was abused, so she doesn't really trust people. *sigh*

Anne, that's a complicated history of cats. One person cats are kind of depressing (they make you feel unloved ) but if you're their person (not that I've ever had that experience) it must be very sweet. Evil cats are annoying, but I still think they're cute I don't mind a few scratches... Haha. Ooh, the poor cat. I hate people who abuse animals. It's nice that your aunt took her in after that, though (I'm assuming that's what happened, and that your aunt didn't abuse the cat herself).

yeah, it is kinda complicated. i love cats, though . wish i had a one-person cat, though. or any cat at all, come to think of it... no, my aunt took her in. she found caramel wandering around and adopted her.

One-person any animal makes you feel unloved! But then it is nice when you are the one-person, lol!
