oh, god this book only increased my love for jacob. the interaction between rosalie and jake had me dying of laughter. i couldn't stop laughing when he chucked that bowl at it. AMAZING.

I wasn't much of a Jacob fan before, but while I was reading BD, he really grew on me. I actually like him now, as well as the other wolves. Or shapeshifters I should say. I liked the interaction between Jake and Rosalie, too. They were really funny. And having Jake imprint on Renesmee, I saw that one coming..

Well (being the slowpoke of a reader I am), I finally finished the book

I really liked Renesmee. She was such a perfect mix of Bella and Edward. But I agree - her name is a little strange. Nessie is nice, though. I don't know why Bella was so opposed to it in the first place. I'm a little worried, though - how is Jacob going to cope when he grows out of his werewolf-ness (shapeshifter-ness, more like) and starts aging again, while Renesmee's an eighteen-year-old or whatever forever?

As for Jacob, I found I started liking him a whole lot more in the second section of BD. I LOVED how he kept on making blonde jokes about Rosalie and then "got food in her hair." And I predicted the whole imprinting thing as well. I think it's a good ending for Jake, though. We were all hoping he would get over Bella, as I remember. It's nice if you can get past the thought of Jake having kissed Bella and then ending up with Bella's daughter...

Yeah that is REALLY weird lol... like mother like daughter, I guess?

And that one mirror to the pool joke, I always heard it as stick a scratch and sniff sticker to the bottom of the pool... I like that one better lol

Well about Jacob aging... That only happens if he stops shifting to his wolf form for a long time. And the half-vamp thing is also pretty new... maybe they have something similar?

See i think that Bella IS mature enough to have a baby, i mean if you thnk about it remember how mature she was ... always taking care of her Renee, taking care of Charlie.. its kindof like she's ready for a baby! & it was perfect how it happened right after the wedding, on the honeymoon like idk i loved it.

is. i mean she's not like the other 18 year olds who just play around a lot she takes things seriously

it would be cool though if bella had the little boy she dreamed about

maybe i'm just biased. the whole thought of bella having a child is still weird to me.. mostly because a) she's 18/19 and b) i never really liked her. everyone always says she's so mature, but i guess i think otherwise.

i let my friend borrow and BD. while i was at her house, she was reading it. then i heard her yell out "WHAT?! BELLA CAN'T GET PREGNANT!" lmao it was hilarious. she started ranting and i could not stop laughing.

I agree. I just have an issue with her being 18. I guess she's mature, but I mean still...

My stepsister had a kid when she was 18, and I love my neice and I love my stepsister and they're both completely fine, but I just didn't see that for Bella. Plus I kinda didn't want Bella and Edward to have a kid so early in their marriage... It felt like they should have had more time...

exactly! i think that might have been my problem too. it didn't give us time for their marriage to sink in when she suddenly becomes pregnant. i just hated it

Yeah I kinda wanted them to have that lovey dovey honeymoon stage for a while, and I really wanted to see Edward and Bella at college (that would've been so fun!) but now they have this kid...

I guess they could still go to college, but I bet they won't want to until she's grown. Gr.

I really don´t like her name. that sucks. but i agree it was too fast but she only was young onher body not in her mind.

I have to agree with the rest of you, the pregnancy happened way too soon. It made it see more like a fanfiction to me, having a baby thrown into the mix, especially at that stage of their marriage. To me, it felt like maybe Miss Meyer couldn't think of anything else to write about and just threw it in there, you know? I just wasn't expecting it to happen. I also hate to say it, but I kind of wish it hadn't happened. I'm not saying that the book wasn't good, I didn't hate it or anything, but I think that if she had wrote about something else instead of the baby, it would have been better.

i could not agree with you more. it's like before you can even say bella and edward got married, she's pregnant. the whole pregnancy thing was weird to me in so many ways. it might be because of my personal opinions. but yeah, i think it she went a different route it would have been 10 times better!

I think Nessie was a perfect addition to the book. I saw it coming when Bella imagined her little baby running around in Eclipse...I think...anyway i think BD was AMAZING. And so is Nessie

i agree that it was to early in their marriage but they didnt think bella could get pregnant in the first place so it was an unexpected and unplanned pregnancy and besides people have babies earlier know my sister got pregnant at 16 and she is doing fine

And yeah it's not so much her age that bothers me, it's just I thought they were too soon in their marriage. Though I feel like it's unfair to Bella, even though she WANTS the kid, that she kind of loses the whole independence stage of her life so soon. I know that I wanna wait to have kids for a while... like my mom had me when she was 35 and my brother when she was 38... I'm probably not gonna wait THAT long, but that's just showing that it's a route you can take...

Well...I was born when my mom was only 19 so...yeah. I don't think I wanna wait.

Well everyone can choose different ways... Like my stepsister had my niece when she was only 18 and they're perfectly fine, but personally, I wanna do some stuff before I have to take on the responsibility of a kid.

really a kid is a huge responsability. i still thinking that's too soon. but ....

Yeah... I didn't even think Bella would WANT a kid so soon like that. She never hinted at it until after she was preggers. It just felt forced to me.

I don't think eighteen's really too early as long as you're prepared and absolutely sure that's what you want. I agree - it seemed weird, because Bella never seemed like the motherly type. It would have worked better if Steph has foreshadowed it a bit in the earlier books. I liked that it was a twist, but even twists need to have some kind of lead up.

yeah i want to wait to, to have some fun before you have a kid
