Yup As long as you don't fall too hard on it, 'cause that just sucks. If you fall out of a jump and go sliding across the ice on your butt, that's pretty fun, but embarrassing too. But yeah, I love going skating in the mornings. And then I get to come home for four or five hours, and then drive back down to the rink again in the afternoon

depends on the day, for me. then again, on normal days, 7 is usually sleeping in as well. i leave for school at 6:45, so 7 is a delirium dream. and on saturday mornings when we don't have to be there until 7:30 (only these next couple weeks. then we get back to 7am practices ) i don't get up until 7 and i'm like, "yay!" but i sense i will loath the rink by the end of this week: i'm there every night from 6 to 8:30 for the ice show, and then there's performances plus practice, and i don't get home from school until 5. grrrrr!

lol i'm in marching band... we have practice in the mornings at 7 am sharp for tomorrow, wednesday, and thursday. weeeee let's go march in circles around the track!!!! we're practicing for a parade...

but during marching season it's every morning and we practice the show. that's more fun.

i love marching band. if i had more time, i'd definitely be in color guard. unfortunately, it was a choice between choir and color guard, so i chose choir. *sigh*

Our school doesn't have a marching band. We have about three bands and a couple of orchestras and other ensembles, but no marching bands. I used to be in band (trumpet player) but then ?I quit, because I hated the music teachers and I wasn't really any good.

Anne, I know what you mean! By Sunday I'm going to be so sick of the arena. Tomorrow's my day off, and then I've got morning and afternoon practice on Thursday, same on Friday, morning (longer, though) on Saturday, and morning on Sunday, and then the competition for like five hours on Sunday. I'm getting really nervous and hyped up about it now. We had the draw today, and I'm skating 7th out of 9 skaters in my division. It's not too bad, I guess. I had my axel perfect today, but then I didn't land any of my big jumps in my program, so that kinda sucked.

I am in nothing, I am not in marching band, or choir or anything else, I have no talent, lol! Actually my life is consumed with school and working and just graduating right now! But I am so excited because tomorrow is friday but there is no school because it is prom, I can't wait!

that sucks! no marching band! lol band comsumes my life sometimes lol.

our prom is tomorrow, but i'm not going. i'm only a sophomore, and i didn't get invited. *shrug* i wouldn't have gone anyway. the theme scares me. neon. *shudders*

Well, we have "the ball" (original, I know) but it's hardly the same thing. I kinda wish we had prom here. Ah well

Neon is a scary theme, Anne. My sister's grade had it for a disco sometime last year, and everybody brought those glow-stick things. Then somebody had the brilliant idea to start breaking them open, and of course they started spraying the liquidy stuff all around the room (and smearing it on their faces), and apparently some girl got it in her eye and spent the next while screaming in agony while she tried to wash it out in the bathroom. You'd think they'd have banned that theme, but NO, we had the exact same theme for our next disco. And guess what? The exact same thing happened. Except nobody got it in their eyes. Not that I heard of, anyway

Sam: I wish you had prom too! I just had mine and it was so much fun! I even went stag which made it that much better, so I got to dance with who ever I wanted!

Dang, we never had a neon theme and now I am glad we didn't!

That sounds like a lot of fun! My sister has her ball this Friday, and she got the most awesome dress (I haven't seen it, but it's been described in enough detail for me to love it, and I've seen shoes that are the same colour and a piece of the fabric it's made from). I don't have mine for another two and a bit years...

Yeah, I was paranoid the whole time we were there, because my sister told me about the incident just before. I spent as much time as possible outside of the main dancing room (the music was unbearably loud, anyway )

Sam: those two and a bit years will go by fast believe me and before you know it, you'll be getting ready and having your hair done and everything for the dance!

Ha ha, I think I would've been paranoid too, lol!

Yeah, I bet they will go by pretty fast... in a way I'm excited to get out of school and graduate and all that, but I'm also REALLY going to freak out about what I'm doing after that. I'm leaning towards a gap year, at the moment And yeah, my sister's doing all that right now, so it seems more real.

i'm not going to prom. well, i don't plan on it, anyway. of course, if jasper kidnaps me and drags me with him, then i might consider it, but not until then!

i'm going to college after high school. i just don't know where yet. i'm going to be a junior next year. and then a senior. and then i'll be 18. *shudder* that's kinda scary. i'm trying not to think about it too much.

fun. that means... oops, never mind. i was going to say you've almost graduated, but that's not right, is it? or do you guys go to school from august to may like we do? *shakes head* season flips are even worse than time changes.

august til may? we go from september to june and i am never going to prom ugh.i don't care if chris drags me there it will never happen.

we start SO early! i think we start aug. 19, next year. we get out may 23rd this year, though, so it's okay.

I went from aug. 22 to now may, and will be done with school on the 15th, but that is just seniors, everyone else gets out on may 31.

sounds a bit like us. seniors get out next friday and we underclassmen have to slave away for another week.
