That sucks, Anne. Nothing against your mom or anything, but you should be able to burn them if you want to. I mean your fifteen, will be sixteen soon. It's not like you're a child, you would be careful and you know not to do anything that would cause the room to catch on fire. As for the situation with your brother, tell them not to give him any, but you should still be able to have them because you're older and more responsible. That always worked when I was in situations like that with my brother.

And to answer you question, house.

my parents don't work that way. partly it's because i suspect they don't trust me, and partly because my brother would throw a MAJOR fit if he found out, and they want to keep the peace as much as is humanly possible. we basically have the same privileges and restrictions, though i can have more friends over than he can. my parents like my friends better . i get more allowance than he does, but i have expenses and he doesn't, so he actually keeps more of his money that i do. and i never got money in middle school. *muttermutter*

lol. my cousin caught a shed on fire and almost burned down the house attached to it. that was really bad.
him and like 4 other boys were in the shed playing with matches. then were stupid enough to drop one on a pile of newspapers...and then run away from it all without telling anyone.

my cousin also got cought catching paper on fire in the sink. that was dumb of him too.

at least in was in the sink, where faucets could reach it in a hurry.

Yeah, it's a good thing it was in the sink or it could have gone horribly wrong. Is there a fire extiguisher located somewhere nearby just in case?

My sister is such a pyromaniac (sp?) she lights everything on fire. She's gonna burn down this house one day..

I accidently set the stove on fire once. I was cooking something in the oven and one of the oven mitts fell in while I was checking the food. I didn't realize that it had fell in until several minutes later when the stove started to smoke and flames started coming out. I had to grab a pair of tongs to pull what was left of the mitt out and throw it in the sink. Every smoke alarm in the house was going off. It was crazy.

Wow...nice hahahahaha. I went caming with my friends once and we decided to make the biggest fire we could and we kinda almost started a forest fire hahaha...good times

i was making pancakes and the burner caught on fire. i was home alone (well, my brother was there, but that doesn't count ) and all i could think to do was turn it off and back away slowly. thankfully, that worked. the pan's all bent out of shape now, though.

my mom likes to make rice, and it'll boil over sometimes, and enough rice and other stuff had collected in the burner that it set on fire. we wash them more often now.

I tried to set my barn on fire. I did set a pot-holder on fire because I accidentally left it in the oven while making muffins. And caught some food I was warming up in the microwave, and melted the plastice plate to the glass. (you know, the slab of glass the spins? I have no idea what they really call it. I just call it the glass turny thingy...whatever) Anyeway, it took me like ten min. to get all the plastic off the glass.
Pancakes? really? Ha ha!

oh, nice. you're like my friend, apparently. after she mistook the oven for the toaster and the flour for bread and thought the time was the temperature, and tried to cook things at 900 degrees... well, i don't let her do the cooking anymore. it gets slightly old being the only one who knows how to cook and clean, but it's better than the alternative...

yeah. well i'm a good cook actually. it's kind of surprising if you ask me. lol i guess watching my mom is paying off.

i tell all my little cousins and brothers friends that the ice cream is in the microwave.....and they look. it is hilarious! lol

i can't cook. i can bake as well as anyone, but i can't cook. i keep turning the stove up too high because i'm impatient. not the best strategy...
