My thoughts

All wasted
I hear the way you talk about her
It makes me think I might die
I want to collapse and cry
For the time I spent with you
Was obviously just us being friends
I can see that you want it to stay that way
You smile at me and show me her picture
I cover my mouth and close my eyes
I turn away, you ask whats wrong I shake my head
and you move along
I put on a smile just for you
You have no clue whats going on inside
Behind the mask that shields the tears, I wish you could understand; uunderstand my feelings how strong they were for you

But I go on and hold the tears back for your benefit
You don't have to worry about me anymore
Go on without me
