Lindz, I can't believe you're not coming to the west coast! Nobody ever comes here. It sucks. But hey, you might get to meet Lilly, and that's exciting! If only I could be there at the same time... but there's no hope of that

sorry I haven't been posting much guys, a lot has come up lately so I have not had the time.

And sweetblood, it's perfectly fine. I haven't been on in a while either, because I've been skating so much (sheesh, I need a life! ) but I'm trying to catch up with all the conversations now.

If I could make good poems like that again, I will. I don't do good at stuff unless it is serieous and about bad stuff. (sad, I know) lol. I write a lot of dark and doomy stuff....depressing is a good word for it.

HAHA, I just laughed out loud when I realized I'd been caught by the netspeak filter up there!! That's the first time, too! It's not fair, because I was trying to correct somebody on their spelling, and just because I put italic marks around it, it took it as netspeak!! Ah well, it was bound to happen sometime...

I guess everybody has their own distinct style, Carmen. And it looks like yours is working for you

most of the time it is a flute name Francine in my classes that is clueless. she give blondes (like me) a bad name!

AHH, so she is giving me (a blonde) a bad name too, I hate it when that happens!

me too. don't worry, i make up for it. im the smartest blonde in my grade so its all good! lol

Forgotten Rows

Walking down rows-
The headstones cast their
Sorrowful shadows
Ghosts of the past
Are behind my back
They tell their story
Of how they fell
Foul and rotten
Their mistakes are forgotten
History books tell things that are fake
Making them heroines
When they were cowards
They built towers
They built bridges
Now all burned to cinders

*I woke up one night and wrote this poem*

As I lay there in my bed trying to get sleep but thoughts of my future kept haunting me…
My heart beats uncontrollably underneath my chest
There’s no physical pain but I know there is some type of pain there
Tears silently roll down my cheek for I only wish for a life like hers
But I don’t think that it’s possible
I’m having illogical thoughts about life but I can’t control where my mind wanders
For my mind has wandered where it shouldn’t be
The place I told it not to go because I know it causes me more pain
Will the pain never lessen?
I’m afraid that it won’t until I find what I am looking for
But what I am looking for can obviously not be found easily
I know if I search I will not find what I am looking for
But I cannot help but to search…At least I searched my thoughts to see if it was even possible. This life I dream of….
To think of a life like hers…to have what she does… To know I will never be able to get what she has…. It hurts to think about…My heart pounds underneath my chest but this time my heart isn’t whole…it is in two pieces and will never be able to be properly fixed without the life I dream of…Although I know this life is highly impossible….
I think about all these thoughts as tears roll down my cheeks unable to be caught by the one person who can make the pain go away

Everyday he’s gone

Make it feel better
Now that he’s gone forever
Patch this hole in my heart
Before it completely falls apart
I tell myself I don’t miss him at all
Lying to myself to make it feel better
Doesn’t work at all

Even my father can see that Im not well
