happy birthday, linden! i know i'm late, but at least i said it! hmm... ooh, i got it! *bakes linden a birthday cake, writes HAPPY BIRTHDAY on it in big letters and tries to scan it into the computer. stares in shock as the scanned squishes it and doesn't beam it through. decides to send it by television like willy wonka. builds huge TY camera. puts on oompa-loompa space suit. tries to send birthday cake, but little brother gets in the way. ends up with teeny-weeny little brother and squished birthday cake.* oops. guess that didn't work too well, did it... i should have figured it out when sam tried to beam me ice cream...

anyway, moving on...

i haven't read it yet . but i asked my mother (read: BEGGED my mother) to buy it for me so i'll have it when i get back. without spoilers, which would get you kicked off, which would be sad, just tell me this: is it good and does it have a happy ending?

Stupid humidity! My dad wouldn't get me an ice cream cone last night because it would melt before he got back.

You haven't read it yet? Aw, that sucks. Well... how to put this without spoiling anything (and without getting myself banned )... One: yes, the book is really, really good. (Really, really long, too. 754 pages.) Two: Yeah, it's happy alright. I was a bit iffy about some things, though.

I actually kind of like humidity, to a certain extent. Like I went to the Grand Canyon for 8 days and it was SO DRY there! At first it was awesome cuz it was like 110 degrees and I didn't sweat at all and my hair would dry after a bath in like 15 minutes when it's usually 2 hours at home, but then my skin became alligator skin no matter how much lotion i globbed on.

So when I got home to humidity central, I rolled down the car windows on the drive from the airport and stuck my head out and was like "OMG HUMID AIR!!!! *gulp gulp gulp*"

and my skin went back to normal in only 2 days so yeah humidity is great for your skin. It also tastes better. I love it for that.

Aww, but if you had aligator skin you could join the circus! Although I have to admit I hate when my skin gets like that so I understand what you mean.

it was DISGUSTING! my skin's NEVER like that!!!!!! and it hurt!

While I was in Paris we came upon this restauraunt called like Hippo's, and then we saw pictures of burgers on the menu. Then we looked at it and they were Hippo Burgers. We couldn't figure out if it was a joke of if the meat was really hippo meat...
