The guy of my dreams (who I've known since 4th grade) left for a year and FINALLY came back from California and a week after he gets back he get's a #$%^ing girlfriend!!! I didn't even get a chance to talk to him :'''(
Now I have to walk from 3rd hour to 4th watching the mholding hands/ That's a ll they ever do though!!!!! lEan against walls holding hands!!! WTF!?!?! Sorry for the Netspeak I can't help it!! And in the two classes we have together he's ALWAYS looking at me and AHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's driving me $%&ing nuts!!!! And I can't even talk to him cuz I get to #$%^ing nervous and start to blush and I'm afraid I'm gonna look like an idiot and ahhhhhh.......Help...I really wanna talk to him but I just don't know how..

i'm pretty much a genius for coming up with the idea for this thread. lol jk

first of all, i think the first step you need to do is just to talk to him. GROW SOME BALLS. lmao i mean that in the best way possible. if you can't even talk to him, then you have a problem. just try and occasionally bring up a small conversation.

my troubles: i'm still majorly in "like" with my best friend. i can't seem to get over him. today he offered to call my creepy stalker ex and say he's my boyfriend. haha how cute. he even sat on my lap today. i even went "i like you!" but he played it off and changed the subject. :[ a mutual friend of ours told me that adam (my crush's name) has ALWAYS liked me. if that's true, why isn't he making a move? because, by now, he has to know i like him. i did write him a letter...

haha i know i won't be posting much in this thread! other than to give advice i guess...

I deiscovered i'm actually pretty good on picking up stuff within relationships

k basically: talk to him, small convo's, that type of thing, nothing too big or complex
brittany: either:
a) hes a total idiot and completely oblivious to EVERYTHING- i know MANY people that cant see something when its put out in front of them...
or
b) hes nervous and cant/wont/hasnt yet made the first move
i'd say (yet again) talk to him, try to talk to him in a not so public spot, so he might be more willing to talk and not have people spreading what he says


my trouble:
everyone on here knows already, guy from my art class, i like him, pretty sure he likes me, dating someone who loves him completely, ex is dating another guy i like, my ex has a new girlfriend (on the bus he paid 10x more attention to me than he did to her, i could tell she didnt like it too much, but was too quiet to say anything)
oh and by the way, for anyone wondering what the guy looks like, medium light brown hair, kinda long, hes always flicking it back (you know the whole, flip your head to get your hair out of your face thing? ya hes always doing that SOOO HOT), looks semi-goth, but i dont think he is, usually wears a chain that hangs to the point he can ALMOST get it over his head (that was hilarious) about 5'9" or so, so not too tall

one of my best friend's exs (who was in my gym class last year) came up to me (and his ex was walking beside me) and like held me by my book bag, and my friend just gave me this look, you know the "uh huh- i told you, see i was right" kinda look, she gave me that, it was wierd then he grabbed hers too, and i gave it right back to her, it was funny, we were covering like the entire hallway
but lets see, the guy from art is constintly looking at me, i was wlaking down the hall right before class and as he was walking in he was like "HEY!" i turned around and was like "yes?" he was like "just saying hey" and walked into class, it was wierd.....
plus theres this other guy i like (and have liked since like early in the year), and everytime i pass him in the hall he watches me, never spoke to him before or anything, but hes always looking at me and this morning we (we being me and one of my friends who knows i like him, and semi-stalk him) was wlaking slightly behind me, and we passed him and she was like "oh sh** dont even think about it!"
ya anyway it was wierd.....

i know he knows how i feel. i know adam and there's no way that he wouldn't read what i wrote him. even though he embarrassed me in front of all of our friends saying he wouldn't read the letter, i KNOW that he had to have read it when he was alone. and it's weird because sometimes we have these awkward, tense moments between us where we don't say anything at all. i swear that boy confuses the hell out of me. for the past week, he's been putting his hand on my leg/thigh and saying 'are you nervous?' i always say 'never!' and then we laugh. i don't know if that's his way of making a move or not.. i guess i'm just scared he'll reject him. anyway, adam pushed me after the last school bell rang and he about tripped me. our 10th grade english teacher looked back and forth between us and said "you guys... i told you, you are just destined to be. you will get married one day. just face it." i blushed so bad and just left haha. i didn't wait around to see what he would say/do.

ava, are you friends with the guy from your art class then? i would definitely just keep talking to him like normal. i feel bad for the girlfriend though :[. and lmao i love guys who can do that hair thing.

i think you should try talking to the other guy too! you never know what could happen. at least he doesn't have a gf, right?

actually i havent stalked the other guy in a while, so i have no clue if he has a girl or not....

for your advice: the "are you nervous" thing could either be:
a) his way of talking to you, small talk dude, just like we all said
b)just him being an a-hole (im basing this off guys from my school, so if im totally off, dont blame me, blame the guys)
or
c) a game, at my school (or on my bus anyway...) called the awkward game, but theres a version (same basic goal/strategy) were you try to make the other person as nervous as possible, this can also (here you go dude) be a form of casual flirting

art class:
the teacher was talking, we were all talking, so we might be gonna be moved...which would TOTALLY suck
but we talked all day today, like a little in the morning and all through art, he never once said anything about him riding the bus!
(his girlfriend rides my bus, of course)
so i get on, im like one of the first, so i dont notice him get on, cause they were sitting like VERY front
so i go to get off (at the stop before mine, no less, SHE NEVER stops there! i was like WHAT THE*&#$*Y^#$?!?!?! luckily it was like 50 ft from the other stop, which i TOTALLY didnt get but whatever) so anyway, im walking down the ailse of the bus, cause i was sitting in the VERY back, and i pass him, NOT noticing him and he almost trips me (purposefully, i might add), im like "what the heck?!" and turn around and hes sitting there with his arm around his girlfriend, kinda leaning on her, smiling at me, im like "DUDE YOU DID NOT TELL ME YOU WERE RIDING THE BUS!" and he just shrugged and i left
but that was probably pretty dumb cause, well his gf was right next to him, and i could just tell out of the cornor of my eye that see wasnt too happy that i was talking to him, but whatever she can get over it
but ya ANYWAY
it was wierd

yeah i knew it was a "game" but he had never done that to me before so i don't know what to think of it. and he smiles when he does it, it's so cute. today we started talking about prom because my bff josie is all "YOU HAVE TO GO OR I WILL DRAG YOU THERE." then she started talking to adam about it (who i want to ask me, really really badly). she goes "adam, tell brittany she has to go." so of couse he said it, but i shrugged it off. if he would just ask me, then i would definitely go. otherwise i'm gonna skip my senior prom

wait, so you're mad at him because he was on the bus? or are you mad at him for tripping you?

NEXT DAY:
well today the girl that usually sits with us wasnt there, so it was just me and the two guys, it wasnt quite as hilarious, but it was definetly still way awesome
and he asked me (privately) a question about his gf, he said that she was being all quite and stuff and saying she was tired, but talking to his other friends, he was asking it was normal for girls to do that, it was wierd
but the entire class, he looked pretty upset
and sitting outside waiting on the bus i was watching them (yes stalker i know) and she was kinda ignoring him, and he looked kinda upset but then he hugged her, like from the side, with arms around the shoulders and head on her shoulder
so i dont have any clue what to think nowadays....

friday in art:
well first off, we have a "sub" for 2 weeks so THANK GOD
ok but back to the relationship part of this
well the other girl that sits at our table was back friday and so they started talking again, him still looking upset, and she told him to show me the eyebrow thing he does, so he looked straight at me, smiled and did this whole, move-your-eyebrows-up-and-down-really-fast thing, IT WAS SOOO COOL
i was like "HOW THE HECK DO YOU DO THAT?!?!?"
then he did a sequence of stuff, still looking straight at me
eyebrow thing again, then he did this really cool bunny nose thing that looked awesome and to end:
blew me a kiss but he didnt do the whole kiss-your-hand-then-blow-on-it thing he just did like the...i dont know how to describe it but it was kinda like when you are trying to make a kissing noise, directed straight at me
but to ruin the moment...
the girl smacked him

aw, that is so sad. it happens to me a lot too. so my advice would not be very good. i realized my feelings for my bff when he got a girlfriend. now whenever he talks about his ex, i get angry. ugh. i hate being in love with someone you can't have or doesn't want you back

For Ali, I say TALK TO HIM.
You barley know him, so just try to find things in common. If you have class with him, ask him about the lesson. Just find some common ground, and talk about it. Honestly, it doesn't hurt to talk to the guy. Get to know him. Even if he does have a girlfriend, not all relationships last forever. And if you and him are meant to be, you will be together, if not, then you will find someone else.

i was kinda surprised because he never hinted at it all, in fact i was sure he liked this other girl, but no.

it was awkward for about half a minute and then my friend (heather) diffused the situation by saying "well sorry, you can't have her cuz she's mine!" and somehow that worked...

But yeah I talked to him about it later. I just can't really see myself dating him or anything... So... He said he agreed with me and just to let things be and let what happens happen.

it was really sweet though because he actually said he liked 3 girls, he told us one, but then said the other 2 he couldn't say and that he would just describe them. Then, we had to pick which one was better and THEN he'd tell us who it was. He said one of them he's really open to and has a lot of fun around, and the other one (and i quote) put him in "a trance"

I didn't really say anything, but heather told him to pick the one it was fun with and he told us who that was. Then she was trying to get him to tell us the other one (and this is where it became obvious it was me by how reluctant he was to say it) and finally she was like "it's Skylar!"

and he was like "yeah."

but then she said "wait, what? I was kididng. oh, you're lying! you suck at lying, ian!"

"no, i'm not."

so yeah.

I just thought it was kinda sweet because... I put him in a trance! Aw!

Now I feel kinda bad though cuz I'm getting a confidence boost from that...
